Elsie’s is a small Mom & Pop restaurant with a local nostalgic neighborhood appeal. You are greeted as part of the family. The service is phenomenal always with smiles and pleasantries. The food is a comfort homestyle American, serving tasty dinner table foods served hot. Definitely worth the stop. ❤️
The food is always freshly cooked to order. Love their pumpkin pancakes and waffles. Great service by Amy and her staff and a wonderful cozy country atmosphere.
This restaurant is 5 minutes from Legoland. We went there for breakfast. Service was super friendly and fast. I prefer promoting local businesses who work hard to offer quality food at a reasonable price.
Nice place close to the historic district. We got our order fast, everything was delicious! I noticed that staff clined other tables after clients left.
I got my favorite seat by the window you show in the photo. Service was fast considering it was Father's Day weekend. Employees are always pleasant. Breakfast was good but would have been better if a more leisurely day to prepare. Overall another good Elsie experience.
I rarely write bad reviews, but its been months since I visited here and this place still haunts me. My friends and I visited on a Sunday morning and were introduced with blank stares from the staff. Our server looked like she wasn’t interested in serving us and didn’t even know the menu. We asked for Philly cheesesteaks and she told us that don’t have that. So we ordered burgers instead. Later on she tells us they do have cheesesteaks so if we wanted it we can have it. She soon returns to tell us that they can’t find the meat for a cheesesteak. After a hour of going back n forth and considering about to get up and leave. She returns with two, tasteless philly cheesesteaks, and my Bacon Cheeseburger deluxe, which was just a burger on a roll with one piece of bacon. I asked for lettuce tomato and onion so I can add it to my burger and she came back with one tomato slice and 3 pieces of onion lol, I can’t make this up. This is hands down the worst place I’ve been too and I have no idea where all of these other good reviews are coming from.
Vintage diner with a very nice eclectic feel to it. I had yummy pancakes and my hubby ordered a breakfast special that had corn beef hash. The lady who took our order was very sweet and charming. It seems like a busy place. We dined on a Monday morning and it was definitely busy. If you are in town, we suggest stopping here. Please note they open and close early.

Loved this fully PAVED trail. Can get some decent distance in on this trail. No shortage of places to stop along the trail whether it be coffee or brews that you are looking for.
