Elmwood Park - Park in Independence - 6200 Elmwood Ave, USA

Everything one would need. Ball diamonds, soccer fields, pool, 2 playgrounds.....one is for ages 2to5 and the other is 5to12. Plenty of areas to walk plus it's home to Safety Town

Awesome park! Clean. Big park area for 5-12yo; smaller park area for younger. Rock wall, zip line (mom approved!). Picnic area with tables and grills. You are able to have parties and you can call city of Independence to get a permit. We had fun here.

They should do a better job at posting signs when the pickleball courts are closed instead of resorting to an incredibly rude woman yelling at you to leave the courts because of a league as if we knew what was going on with a lack of postings on the doors.

Honestly its a great place to go to to either practice or play baseball/softball. There's also two parks: the newly renovated one next to the diamonds and the one right across the parking lot from the fire station and city hall. The pool is here too, right next to the pond. Its an awesome pool.

Very nice park to walk around. In this area (not necessarily all in Elmwood park), there are baseball diamonds and a playground. Safety town is located in the area. There is also the Independence rec center and the library. They have fireworks for Independence Day. Great community asset.

Beautiful park complex! Plenty of open space and walking trails for social distancing. Although I didn't use the bathroom it was centrally located. Lots of people out enjoying the park.

Super nice place. Went for annual fireworks display. Haven't tried going any other time but we plan on trying it out. Seems like a nice place for family activities
