We got married, had birthday parties, and all major life events here! We always love our time at Elmwood and spending the night at the Bed and Breakfast! Hard to beat the great atmosphere and awesome owners!
Elmwood Farm B&B in Western Md (Williamsport) is a true gem. It is so peaceful and you can definitely make yourself at home on this beautiful farm. The energy here is amazing. The Innkeepers are sisters and they do a terrific job to make sure you are comfortable and can relax. Also, there are a lot of different things to do nearby. I highly recommend anyone to stay here for a wonderful experience and a delicious gourmet breakfast.
A fantastic place to stay if you are biking the C&O canal trail. Lettie picked us up with the bike shuttle (with room for 10 bikes!) right off the trail. During our stay, we were treated like family and encouraged to roam around the property, see the alpacas, and make ourselves at home. Our hosts even did our laundry for us, washing our dirty biking clothes so we could resume our bike ride the next day with clean clothes. We enjoyed the waffles, fruit, orange juice, and coffee for breakfast. We hope to be back soon.
I have styayed at dozens of B&Bs throughout the wolrd (Europe, Asia, NA). This was the highest quality B&B--by far. Best part were the hosts -- kind, witty, helpful. The company of two wonderful Australian Sheperd dogs didn't hurt either. Will go back with wife for a weekend as a detination, not just a place to sleep along the path.
Very nice! Historic house, refurbished by descendants of the original owner - two sisters. Rooms were beautifully restored with period furniture, but with modern conveniences- like TVs and USB ports. Hosts were gracious - offering to wash clothes and asking about dietary restrictions for breakfast. Although there were no restaurants nearby, they provided menus for delivery services. They picked us and our bikes up at the C&O canal trail. Definitely a nice respite for C&O canal bikers.
Such welcoming and kind owners. We only stayed one quick night and would have love to stay longer - clean, historic, and yummy breakfast. Beautiful view of the sunset from our room. I would highly recommend.
Without question, a one-of-a-kind location, with two of the nicest, most hospitable and personable people you could ever hope to meet. Lettie and Selena are wonderful, gracious, giving hosts, and their property is beautiful. Their #1 rule for guests to "make themselves at home" would be a hard one NOT to follow, as that's just what it feels like as soon as you arrive. We simply cannot recommend Elmwood Farm highly enough.
10 stars for Selena and Lettie! Incredible people, service, and venue. Our daughter had her wedding there and it was perfect. Lettie took care of everything and keeps you on track. She is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, organized and professional. The farm and history are amazing. The wedding was on Saturday. We had the venue from Friday to Sunday so the rehearsal dinner was held there, the bride and bridesmaids stayed over Friday night and got ready in the morning there, the groom and groomsmen all got ready there, and the honeymoon suite (Saturday night) was also there. Lettie took all the stress out of what could have been a very stressful time. Really couldn't have been better!

Traveling through the area looking for some place delicious for great sandwiches that would satisfy a variety of family members. This place is all that and more, with the added bonus that you are not buying from a chain, but a small business that rea
I don't use the land part of Williamsport Park but instead use it to launch my kayak on the Potomac and for Antietam creek. It's a beautiful spot and the river is frequently completely deserted. Antietam Creek can be tricky to paddle up depending on
my son loves this park. lots to do! the main playground has the rubber ground instead of mulch making falls safer and cleaner clothes. they have fitness stations throughout and several nice pavilions. this is run by williamsport not wash co parks.
Our 4 & 6 year old boys had a lot of fun here, even though it rained a lot. Glad we had a cabin. The staff are very friendly and do a great job of keeping the place clean and family focused. I was particularly impressed with how consistently clean an
