This library is by far one of the few diamonds in Nassau county . Very well kept and the service is like royalty . Everyone is treated with upmost respect and very helpful for any information needed or book borrowed. They have a wonderful kid section and safe parking is available. I love the extra activities they provide such a painting and cooking classes.

One of the best, organized, upgraded libraries in Nassau County. The location is very calm and usually empty. Lots of quiet areas, books are updated, and there are adult, teens, kids areas. Also there are events held here often as well as movie viewing for free. They also rent games and movies. I love it here and so does my son.
First time visiting. Lovely customer service in children’s section by one of the librarians and overall. Arts and crafts for the kids. Great selection of books.
They had a blind date with a book
In the teens section.
The hands on for the kids is closed due to covid pandemic at this time.
They have movies for the public on weekends. Currently you don’t have to wear a mask if fully vaccinated but everyone was. Will be coming back again.
Elmont memorial Library is a marvelous building. A site to behold. Unfortunately most times it happens to be the loudest Library in New York. The main hall is so noisy you can barely hear yourself think. If it wasn't for the quite study rooms one could never get anything done. I mean what appen to the days of " SHHHHHH this is a Library "
One of the biggest libraries on Long Island with a huge collect and a Veterans display. Visit @sagacityjournals on Instagram for a full tour.
They always have wifi issues and poor manners from some staff. Today, they had wifi issues and the internet was down for almost 2 hours (probably more). I went to the staff desk over by the computers and printers section and asked a young man. If the wifi was down. Two people were at the desk. A woman sitting down and assisting someone else at this time. Anyway the young man gave me such a look. Stared at me, then looked down and started shaking his head in a no motion (left to right) but then he looked back at me and said 'The wifi is not working'. I said 'ok' and walked away. The look he gave me though, made me feel as if I was stupid for asking that question as if it was obviously down and I was bothering him. I had just came in at that point and was setting up my computer when I noticed the issue. I get it. He was probably bombarded with people coming up to him before me, asking the same question. However, I felt like, though his verbal response was not disrespectful, his mannerism/attitude was passive aggressive. He came came off as being annoyed and just rude. As someone who has worked in the customer service industry for years, I can understand being overwhelmed by the job but that's no excuse to be obnoxious and rude. A pleasant demeanor goes a long way.
We visited with my grandsons during the Nassau library tour
The children's room was wonderful. The boys went in and made a craft and also went on a hunt. They had a wonderful time
Very spacious, clean, and well stocked library. Staff is very friendly and helpful

I've been going to this bakery for years and they did not disappoint for my daughter's Sweet 16 cake. Not only did it look gorgeous, but it tasted delicious. As did all the other little pastries I got for the party. Everything was amazing. Thank you!
The best arena in hockey. Period. Absolutely spectacular, especially if you're an Islander fan. Very easy to get to if you're taking the train and food is very good as well. I did not drink but I heard the drinks were very expensive. Let's go Islande
This is the best deli around town. One word, 'consistency', as the bacon egg and cheeses are always perfect no matter the day.
I want to thank all these wonderful people for their service, always delivered with a smile.
