From Turkey Point Lighthouse, Rogue Harbor, all the way to the North Bay area this scenic stretch of land has it all. Hike the white tail, pick paw paws in the Beaver Marsh, forage for maitake, hunt, fish, or just relax by the dock on the bay. Always something to do no matter the season.
Parking was not an issue even on a beautiful summer weekend. If it would be all parked up, people are coming and going frequently. Nice .8 mile walk to the lighthouse area. Highly recommend it! BTW, There are porta potties at the lighthouse area, Not really any seating in the shade though.
I took the RV to the park for a long weekend. The facilities are very nice. Large camp sites, great bath houses, beautiful scenery, loved the lighthouse, great boat ramp. The beach was over crowded. My big issue was if you wanted to bicycle anywhere you had to get on 272. Something needs to be done to help there. Speed lowered and more bike friendly signage would be a start.
Great campground. Been going here for 28 years. Always clean and friendly campers.
Hiking trails are within a few minutes walk down the road from the campground and lead to some cool views and beaches. Some of the trails we hiked were a bit overgrown and in rough shape, but all were generally well blazed and easy to follow. It goes without saying, but if you're here in the summer months prepare for the bugs. Flies in particular were abundant.
It has a nice campsite overall. Here are some things to know. The campsite is clean overall. Bathrooms are decent. Definitely not the worst I've seen. There is a good amount of space between sites. FYI if you want to see the lighthouse you have to park in a lot and walk about 1.5 miles down a dirt road. It is an easy walk with nice views so it worth seeing if you are in the area. A few minutes drive to the beach. Campsite is much more chill than others.
Very nice place for a short walk or run. A small trail that leads to a beautiful view. You can walk down a bit and reach the waterfront. Be careful of Snakes if you are going to water.
My dog and I spent a wonderful day there! Parked at north beach, note that the gates don't open until 9am! Self pay station 5$ for out of state plates. We checked out the beach, then did the hike (white something trail, I forget the name) to a wonderful secluded beach! Info for us RVers: there are toilets and there is one single water well, but it's a little ways from the road, so you need a canister to fill up your tank

Wow! Great little beach with white sand and smooth surface in the water. They have a snack shack, bathrooms, showers, and dressing rooms. Plenty of picnic tables. Plenty of room for many people. Cost is $5 a person for the entire day.
Turkey Point Lighthouse offers a captivating blend of history and nature. The short but scenic hike to reach the lighthouse is worth every step, surrounded by lush landscapes and stunning bay views. Although I didn't enter inside, the exterior and su
What a great little coffee shop! Great coffee, friendly service, and crazy fun and tasty donuts! What more can you ask for from a small town surprise stop? Definitely a required stop! Thanks for the tasty treats my kids loved the donuts!
Actually ended up having a great time and this was a very last minute quick google search. We needed to be close to the Delaware east stop. BE WARNED: They only accept cash! People who owned the spot and worked there are friendly. We had a beautiful
It was difficult to find the trail that led to the waterfalls, but I eventually found it! See photos. There were painted pink rocks that helped guide me to the falls. I was the only one there. It was relaxing. A little difficult of a trek because of
Some of the best pho Iâve ever had. I had the âHue styled beef noodle soupâ which was delicious, huge portion too. Also had the shrimp and pork summer rolls, maybe the best summer rolls Iâve ever had, as well as the peanut sauce. Glad I was a
I come here at least once a year. I live about 2 hours away and itâs closer than going to NJ or OCMD. I like it because itâs sand and water and usually not super crowded. Having said that, the sand isnât the same ocean sand at the beaches. Itâ
SO much fun. We felt like family! We stopped in for a late lunch with family members after a funeral and needed not only good food but a bit of fun. Our server was playful, sweet and we loved her. We got a variety of food...breakfast for myself and m
