My husband and I wish to thank Harry & Eleanor for a making our stay so wonderful! The Inn is beautifully decorated and well managed with the perfect touch of an era gone by. Even down to the music played in the dining area. WE LOVED IT! We wish Harry & Eleanor all the best!

We stayed for 2 nights and it was an adorable experience. Like others have said, it needs some work . If you are in the area staying here is worth it over a hotel. The owners are sweet and the rooms are clean. Support local businesses!

The Elkforge Lodge is a hidden gem!! This place is so beautiful.. the beautiful decor/antiques etc..We stayed there for a conference we were attending in the next state. The outside gardens had amazing stone statues, the rooms were especially nice. I forgot to take more pictures. The place is also pet friendly. The area where you have breakfast is GORGEOUS!! Harry, the owner was so nice and friendly we can't wait to go back very soon. So glad we stayed there!!

My husband and I just spent 3 nights at this place. Check in was super easy. Harry is a friendly host, the breakfast was served every morning and it was more than a "continental" breakfast. Food was homemade, hot and delicious. The grounds are beautiful and location worked great for us. I would recommend this bed and breakfast!

Absolutely peaceful! My husband and I want to come back and stay in a few different rooms. We stayed in the lancaster room. If you love nature, love to read, and do puzzles, or just relax, this is a place to go. The grounds are beautiful, the flowers, landscaping. The staff are super friendly. Thank you for a nice stay! 😊

We were truly grateful to have this lovely place to stay, and at a great value. Most importantly we had a good night's rest and a hearty breakfast. The property was very quiet and historically unique in character.

2 of my friends stayed here 2 different times an recommend it to me. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for one night in the Brandywine suite, it was so nice it’s very old fashion and just so beautiful. We had such a peaceful night, the large spa tub was awesome, we are both 6ft + and we fit just snug but it was perfect. Workers are very friendly. There are trails outside which we walked an it was so beautiful it led to the water! I will say the room was very pricy at 290 for 1 night, that would be my only complaint, but I will stay here again.

The hotel is pretty during the day but creepy at night. We knew it was a contactless hotel, but it was still weird. My husband said it was creepy. A lady did come out when we came and did say hi. We assumed she worked there since she did not introduce herself. When we walked in the Baltimore the room smelled like smoke (in a smokeless hotel). There were stains on the mattress sham and the water from the sink in the bathroom did not smell good( I am assuming it is well water). The floor tiles were coming up by the tv. The breakfast was the best part of what I could eat (waffles and fruit). The French toast casserole could have been cooked a little longer and the egg Florentine was not good. An old gentleman came out and spoke to people I am assuming he was the owner or hotel manager (he did not introduce himself). I really wanted to complain but I did not since it was my husband’s birthday and our anniversary. I would not recommend this place unless you go in and see the room before you book it. This was my first time at a B&B and I’m disappointed .
