Nice location but unfortunately no trees or shade, thus less privacy and more sun. Luckily we arrived in the evening when the sun went down. Had a great swim before sunset, nice to cool down a bit. Clean toilets. Spacious RV spots with own grill and table.
The campsite is at a really beautiful part in the forest, pretty far away from anything else so beware you won’t be able to easily access stores. Although the views are nice, the water is super cold and you don’t have really any privacy at the campsites (they are slightly spaced out though). Overall a nice place to visit but I wouldn’t stay here for a long time.
Nice campground. Lovely view of the river and surrounding mesas, had clean bathrooms and sites, also had a cute little presentation at the amphitheater. Room for 2 cars and 2 tents at each site. About an hour from the Black Canyon National park. Cons: Unfortunately not all water refill station’s functioned which was a little disappointing. No showers and very little shade, although this was made known to me us in their website prior. They did allow fires, but being your own firewood because there was no one there to sell it to us at the campground. Overall had a lovely camping trip here.
Clean restrooms, nice camp hosts! There is not much shade at the campground. The best hike we had was to Pine Creek trail head where the Gunnison River exits the damn West of Blue Mesa reservoir.
Beautiful area and well kept campground with pretty level sites. Stayed on an electric site and had a beautiful view. The host was very kind, and the restrooms were nice. My only complaint is that there were some dogs that were not leashed.
Nice big RV spots that have a good amount of space between them. Easy access to the reservoir. There is some highway noise if you're close to the road, but the spots farther away are quiet. There is no shade so I would recommend a plug-in spot for RVs if you're not a fan of heat. It will get quite warm in the sun.
Beautiful campground. Depending on what loop you camp in you can get very close to the water. Bathrooms were pretty clean and the overall campground was clean. Each campsite had a fire pit which was nice on a cool night. The campground host was very nice and informative. Would definitely come back to this campground.
Someone said this has to be the most underrated place in Colorado… I agree 1000000%! I’m so mad I have to leave after only one night. I will be back. However, I did rent the adventure pod for a fun treat for my daughter. Don’t get me wrong, they are top notch quality, clean, safe, and.. well that’s all. And that’s enough. But for 150$ a night?? Nope sorry. I had a great motel room last week for 113$ a night and had a shower and bathroom. I’m not complaining nor do I need Miss. Priss amenities. But it’s just to much per night. I could totally see 89.99 a night?… maybe? I dunno I’m a tent camper so maybe my opinion doesn’t count. Just saying:)

Our 2nd time getting food from there. We took a drive from Grand Junction to Gunnison for New Years Eve day. A gorgeous balmy winter day. It was also our 12th wedding anniversary. Their food is worth the 2.25 hour drive. Texted my order in the morni
Great place to visit and learn about the pioneer life. We brought 65 scouts out west and this was one of the stops. More than enough to keep them engaged. Well worth the stop if you are driving nearby.
We took our young children and had a great time. The staff was so nice and helpful. The pool is heated, great place for little and big kids. The gymnastics gym is open play and the basketball court. They have family changing rooms too!
This family run hole in the wall had some wonderful margaritas, cold beer, but most importantly great tasting home made food. I can highly recommend this location. Come early as the place fills up quickly after 1800. As per usual, I did not ta
We loved our stay at Rodeway Inn!! We extended our planned length of stay and ended up spending 4 nights at the Inn. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the room itself. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the rate was excellent. W

Our room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was perfect, there was little to no external noise, and we loved the location. The front desk (man and two women) were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, except for the eggs,
