Elk Country Inn - Hotel in Jackson - 480 W Pearl Ave, USA

Staff were nice, hotel was fine, pool/hot tub were definitely nice. However, the cost of the hotel isn’t anywhere NEAR the value. It was a fine hotel not near the worth that they charge. We were in the “remodeled” section and it still seemed dated and small. King bed was too soft for us. Food for breakfast was pretty bland and limited. Not really walking distance to downtown unless you want to walk about a mile. Tried to ask for a different room and staff didn’t seem to care to try to help. Also asked them to match the current online prices as I booked in advance at a higher rate and they said there was nothing they could do. Disappointed overall and wish they would have matched the rates.

THE FRIENDLIEST hotel staff ever! we changed hotels and they stored our bags & let us hang out in the common room (out of the rain) even though our room wasn't ready for a couple of hours really nice clean updated older hotel/motel, with really nice newer front end reception & common / breakfast room nice guest room (tiny bathroom) but still very comfortable private covered deck with chairs was nice... no elevator but it's an easy walk up great breakfast, but be warned, there's limited seating... we sat on the comfy chairs in reception area by fireplace with side table.. no hardship

We really enjoyed our stay here. We chose it for its proximity to Schwabacher Landing. The shared spaces are very clean and modern. The pool is gorgeous. Room is very clean, nice size, with some small extra touches. Nice vanity area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is very close to room.

Gorgeous hotel with a refreshing indoor & outdoor pool to relax after a long day's hike. Breakfast is decent and they have free cookies available each day. There are only stairs to the upper rooms though, so beware carrying heavy luggage.

Just loved this Resort in Jackson Hole. Very close to the town which is in walking distance. Our room offered a view over the ski-area. The rooms were extremely comfortable, warm, spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again and loved the open fireplace in the hotel lobby. The only downside was the breakfast which was pretty average.

Great location. Close to everything you need. We reserved the two queen bed room in the main building. The room was clean and spacious, comfortable bed. Great amenities. |The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Freshly baked cookies at 5 pm.

Located in town if that is what you are looking for, walking distance to anything as it is a very small town. Breakfast was good for this hotel class, nice towels, cookies at check in. Pool and gym were closed by the time I went to find them, the pool looked inviting. Had a family loft room, which is described as having 2 queens with a 3rd queen in a loft space. They appeared to be full sized beds, not queens. I have a queen at home, these looked small. The bathroom was incredibly tiny, I am a slim person and had to climb into the bath in order to close the door to use the toilet. NYC apartment bathroom. For a family style room it was clearly inadequate. We had 5 adults and 2 children, there was just not enough room for all the towels and very close quarters for sleeping. I saw glimpses of daylight between the walls and doors and windows and there was a very noisy birds nest on the in-window air-conditioner. Songbirds are protected, however some attention to weatherization would help with soundproofing, efficiency and potential pest issues. Strangely weatherization seems to be a low priority in the area despite the cold winters, as I saw this sort of failure often. I can forgive a historical log construction lodge with wavy glass handmade windows, but its usually an inexpensive and low-skill job to weatherize a standard hotel room.

Great service, a good breakfast included and large rooms. The bathroom was tiny though. We enjoyed this hotel and the indoor/outdoor pool was great as I like shade and my friend likes the sun. The location was good in the town centre close to shops and restaurants and ski resorts. We stayed here to explore Grand Teton National Park nearby. I do recommend it. We loved the town of Jackson too with great restaurants, compared to the Yellowstone restaurants.
