Small, but impressive museum in Central Austin. I've driven past this museum hundreds of times and never noticed this mini-castle that's a block off of 45th street. If you're curious about Austin/Texas history, this museum is worth checking out. The architecture of the building is pretty cool see. Inside there's various sculptures of famous European and Texas figures.
Great small museum for visit even if you are not the sculptures expert, you can enjoy the story of this wonderful talented woman and her husband, loved the interior and atmosphere, you will have a list with names of presented sculptures. Absolutely recommended if you are in Austin, no cost, not crowded, located in green zone.
We loved this place. I love seeing old architecture in a place you wouldn't expect. There are many sculptures and paintings to see. There is also an upstairs to visit inside. Be aware that the stairs are narrow. Also outside is great for filming and taking pictures. The staff was very helpful.
Wow, this place is a gem among gems! We were met by an extremely helpful curator who gave us a history of the museum. The building is stunning and you simply must experience the charm of being surrounded by the sculptures. A must see in Austin!
A small historical and natural museum close to downtown.
Being in Austin, I wasnt aware of this place for a quite long time.
Visited for an Art exhibition. The sculptures were arranged and decorated with lot of efforts as you can see from pictures.
The place is well preserved from the old times including the staircases. The chair at the lawn and garden was very peaceful.

One of my favorite museums in Austin. Great sculptures by Ms Ney. From Mad King Ludwig to Stephen F Austin and Jesus. Also other exhibits and a look at the history and life of her and her family. Oldest museum in Austin too. Great outside walking area and a park across a bridge with tennis and areas to picnic
A must see in Austin. A true historical treasure. There was no entrance fee, they have a donation box in lieu of paying for a ticket, which we gladly did.
We never knew this was here ! We all enjoyed it!
My husband found this place on a post from Instagram. We went to visit with our kids. We all didn’t know much about Elisabet Ney but after our visit we all learned something new. They provide a booklet of very informative information for you to read along the way. It also goes by numbers so you know what your reading on. I highly recommend and don’t forget to go upstairs
We had a small wedding (55) at the Neill Cochran House Museum. Perfect central location in Austin, west of UT campus in this beautiful antebellum home.
The outside patio with string lights and a fountain provided a stunning and comfortable place for
What an amazing place... never a dull moment inside here and every nook and space had something cool to see and observe. A few interactive areas and the king Kong display to take pics was awesome. Could use some better lighting it was dark to view s
This place is fantastic! I had such a great workout! The treadmills are excellent, and you can actually feel a difference between Strideâs treadmills and regular ones. The teacher Rachael was clear and encouraging. The vibes were great: modificatio
A feeling of calm radiates from this lovely coffee truck. I observed many regulars (including pups) interacting in a community way. A canopy of a ginormous pecan tree gives the Terrible Love protection as well protecting some of the abundant greener
I accidentally signed up for a more advanced class and was feeling a little unsure upon arriving, but Shelby immediately put me at ease and made me feel so comfortable. I had by far one of the most rewarding experiences with yoga I have ever had! Her

This was such an amazing experience! My friends and I visited from NC, and the workout kicked our butts (in a good way). We had such a great time talking to the owner, Jordan, and the coaches, Dawson and Josh, as well as the members. There is a great
As someone who has tried most gyms, studios, and boot camps in this city, I can confidently say that Cristian is, hands down, the best trainer in the city!

Stumbled upon this gem on South 1st and was able to try a variety of fresh samples. As a plant based eater, I was blown away at the creativity given to the menu. The Campfire Chili is hands down the best chili Iâve tasted. The owner Aaron was very
Our experience at Bar AC was fantastic! We had a great time and it was a wonderful send-off for our friend. The cocktails were top-notch, and the service was excellent. Courtney, our waitress, was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. If
Elite coffee spot. I make a physical effort to stop by each time I'm in town, and I'd be here every day if I lived in Austin. Try the pumpkin spice latte, they make it the perfect level of not too sweet
Visited Austin for the weekend and took the free trial at Ambush. It was awesome and I would definitely recommend checking this gym out. I've been training Muay Thai and MMA for ~ 2-3 years now and this gym is great for learning Muay Thai and striki
