Elephant & Castle - Restaurant in Seattle - 1415 5th Ave, USA

I was intrigued by the name. The place is cute when you walk up to it. We were politely greeted and seated. Our waitress was fabulous. She took extra care of my kids. I wanted to try a pie, so I got the chicken pot pie. It wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped, but it came with a fantastic side salad. The crust on the pie was delicious. I would definitely come back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

Elephant & Castle is a cozy pub that serves delicious British food and drinks in the heart of Seattle. I was looking for a local place to test the “vibe” of the city, and I chose well. The Shepherd Pie was mouthwatering, hearty, and satisfying! It came with a side of brown gravy, which added an extra element of flavor that I didn’t expect. They also have Belhaven Scottish Ale on tap, which is a great beer! I couldn’t stop there, so I tried the bread pudding for dessert. It was soft, sweet, and scrumptious! The pub has a warm and welcoming vibe, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. If you are looking for a taste of Britain in Seattle, you should definitely visit Elephant & Castle. Do yourself a favor and try their bread pudding. It’s divine!

Definitely a must try place! 👍 Food was incredible! Love the pub scene! 🥧 🍺 We were staying in the hotel upstairs and we arrived late from our flight ✈️. Many places were closed so we decided to try downstairs! Lively place and friendly staff. Perfect to enjoy a nice meal 🥘 can manage large parties 🎉 Our order: “The wee pie flight” 🥧I loved the pie flight because you can try all the different kinds they offer. The crust was perfect and crispy. Favorite 2 pies was the shepherds pie and chicken pot pie 😋“Butter chicken poutine fries” 🍟The fries sound odd but really delicious 🤤 For dessert =“Peach tarte tatin” Definitely a must try dessert. 😋🙊

This place is definitely worth checking out if you want a cozy atmosphere. The fish and chips was delicious and I highly recommend it. The Fuller's London Pride was a great drink too! Very spacious when you're inside. They have one pool table downstairs that you can use if it's available. Can be on the pricey side though, then again it's Seattle.

Elephant & Castle offers a pleasant British pub-style dinning experience. I had the butter chicken poutine and crisps & dips for starters. The butter chicken sauce was one of the best I've had; not too sweet and the right amount of creaminess and savoriness. I actually would have liked the chicken to be replaced with more curds. The crisps were thin and crispy. Really, they were brilliant served in a paper bag. Of the dips, the dill dip was the table's fave. For my entree, I had the (4) mini pies. They were all good and the right sized entree after plowing through two appetizers. The Shepard's pie was the best, I think. Our servers were very nice and attentive with a bit of charm on display.

Food is delicious and good portion. Service very slow, but very friendly! Visited twice. Deluxe burger & sweet potato fries - a bit messy, filling and lots of flavor. Wee pie flight was cute & yummy. Seems like a cool spot to catch sports games, especially soccer/football.

Poutine and pretezel bite is very good. Old feshioned it’s a good choice and a tap water go very well hahhaha. All very helpful attendants. LGBT Friendly, this is an important point for the community! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Ok so here's the thing, I normally list a few great things about the place and then one or two negatives to even it out a bit. I can't think of a single thing that would be worth noting as bad, Everything, from atmosphere, to the dipping sauces was outstanding. The food here was so good that I am second guessing all other 5 star ratings I have given. I had the Sunday roast and the gravy alone would be worth writing a dissertation on. The potatoes were flavorful and the Yorkshire pudding *chefs kiss. My wife had the au ju dip and poutine omg. I would eat an entire nother round if I wasn't so stuffed from their large portions. I will definitely be going back ASAP
