Stopped here to soak in the perfect weather & views while passing through New Mexico on 7/3/23 at about 7:²⁵am. We made breakfast at one of the picnic areas & took a short bike ride. I even got a nice shot of the moon. 😍 I loved it! I wish it was a longer stay. I really would've loved to hike or ride the trail! Will definitely try to visit again!
Excellent trail system. There are trails for every level of hiker. There's a fee for entry, but if you live in the area a pass is an option at $30 a year. This is the best money I've ever spent. Most trails are shared with bikes and in my experience most bikers are very courteous as long as they can see you... There have been several times where I've had to jump out of the way very quickly, so if you have kids or dogs beware.
Beautiful trail! Clean, animal friendly. Can get a little warm mid-day so bring plenty of water and a protein bar. Highly recommend visiting. Cost is only $1 to park a vehicle.
My wife and I were married at the Kawanis area in March of 2009. The scenery here is wonderful. It’s like your eyes are getting a hug from the mountains. There are various trails connecting to and near this park. It is located in the foothills of the Sandia mountains.
Well maintained Open Space with many hiking, running, biking, horseback riding trails. Plenty of bathrooms and dog waste stations at the entrances of many trails. Decent amount of parking but come early because it does fill up quick. There is also structures you can reserve for parties or gatherings. Great view of the mountains as well.
This day spot leads to many trails ranging from easy to difficult. We went up the Domingo Baca (TWA), trail. Beautiful trail with lots of greenery and a nice stream. Gets a bit muddy and can be challenging, but is my favorite trail on the west side of the Sandias.
I love hiking in New Mexico. We did a 9 mile trail and the views were beautiful. The shaded part of the mountains were covered in snow, sadly I had no luck and didn’t run into a rattlesnake 😢, We did got to see a few Lizards at the Elena Gallegos Trail.
Beautiful views and easy trail , plenty of benches.

We enjoyed walking through the pumpkin and chile fields with our granddaughter. She enjoyed the piano and couches set up in the sunflower field. What a fun place! We bought pumpkins and honey and truly enjoyed a beautiful day.
When I arrived to Boca Negra Canyon I was a bit confused about daily use pass if it was needed or not. Fee collection station had a sign that it was discontinued so I assumed I didnât need a pass. This place gives you access to Mesa Point Trail, Ma
Parking a little small. Very busy on weekend. Great for hike, you can choose the length of the hike depending which way you go. Best to use AllTrails map.
Very clean trail. There were many scenic views along the trail. Mutt mitts (doggie poo bags) are available and they are better than the poo bags that you buy in the store. There are a few benches overlooking truly amazing landscapes. Bring some water
This place is pretty neat. You get to see all sorts of rock carvings in different areas. We went here when it was in the 30s as I avoid the hot days. Nice walk, the parking lot is small.
Easy walk with a payout of large rocks that are a great place to rest. This is one of my favorite very easy hikes around Albuquerque. Most of the ground is fairly level and to get to the type of rocks shown, it's less than a mile. I like this hike
Pretty area with a short trail up to view a rocky wash. First part of the trail is wide and accessible, last part is steeper. Quite a bit of work has been done recently on the trail in the narrower part and there are arrows to guide people and hopefu
Absolutely loved my stay at the Desert Compass! The property is beautiful and very well kept. I stayed in the Rattlesnake Suite and it was so cozy, welcoming, and clean. The private/gated parking provided me with peace of mind. I would definitely boo
There is no one better than Lawrence for a specialized plan. I came in with a gluteal tendinopathy after months of working with a Physical Therapist, Lawrence was the one who finally got me feeling fully healed. Great gym, great people, highly reco

Excellent service from signing on to closing. Broker Terri Sauer Beach was recommended by friends and brought a good team. Terri's advice was sound and she helped us get our work done prior to listing. We had an offer within a week and accepted it. T

Yum! First time we tried K Style Kitchen! Food was delicious. We ordered 5 level spicy which was very spicy but flavorful. We even had enough to bring home for next day. Will definitely visit again. I heard about this restaurant through a group on Fa
A delightful B&B with historically themed rooms. The beds are comfy, the robes fluffy, and the cookies that greet you when you check in to your room delectable! Breakfast is a true pleasure for anyone who loves their food. Steve has an extremely well
I was speechless after this show. You can tell that these artists and this organization are doing their heart's work. I wish I lived in NM so that I could go to these shows more regularly! Such an affordable way to enjoy an incredible show.
Great gaming lounge with a wonderful staff. Tons of consoles and computers to play. Cost is totally reasonable. Great place to get out of the house, for dates, and just to hang out with the family.
