My wife and I, along with our four year old son, finished our three-night stay hotel for a mini-vacation in Philadelphia. Overall, we loved the hotel. What we loved: (1) the location; (2) the cleanliness; (3) the check-in process (appreciate we were able to check-in over an hour early, too - not sure if that's just because we went mid-week, during a non-busy time); (4) the courteousness of the staff at front desk and valet; and (5) the quietness of the hotel. I would like to emphasize the last point, in particular. As a light sleeper, and traveling with a four year old, I was a little concerned about booking a hotel in the middle of Philadelphia's City Center, but the hotel was perfectly quiet. I was never disturbed by other guests, or street sounds. Also, getting to and from the room was a breeze, as the elevators were also quick and reliable. In short, we would return here for our next visit.||The only comments I would have are that, first, it would be nice to see daily cleaning service, or at least turn-down service. That being said, given the nightly cost of the hotel and the quality of the room and how new/updated everything is, I have to figure that is a factor. Moreover, you can request housekeeping to swap out dirty towels and replace with fresh ones at any time, which we did.||Second, the breakfast could be somewhat improved. The scrambled eggs were OK, but a little bland, and would be nice to see more options (e.g., waffles, assorted fruits and more muffins). Then again, given the price for a nightly stay, you can't complain too much.||Third, the hotel should offer dish soap and dishwasher detergent for the little kitchens in the rooms. While not a huge deal for us, we would have probably used less dishes and created less cleanup for housekeeping afterward, if we were able to clean our own dishes, or at least run the dishwasher before we left. The lack of dish soap and dishwasher detergent made that impossible.||Finally, and probably my largest gripe, is the cost for daily valet. I appreciate that parking in any city center is expensive, but $60 for daily valet PLUS $13 tax each day is exorbitant. At a minimum, the hotel should offer a discount to those staying multiple nights to remain competitive with nearby garages, especially if you don't utilize the in and out service that often. In fact, we only used the car ONCE from when we checked in to when we checked out three days later. The notion of paying $220 for valet services for three nights (yes, that is what it came to in the end) is simply not competitive when I could park at a garage a couple blocks away for $104 for three nights.||That being said, the above points are relatively minor compared to the overall enjoyment and satisfaction we had staying at the hotel.

Staff was SO helpful! We were in town for a wedding and the registration clerk checked us into our room WAY EARLY - like Noon! The bed and pillows were comfy and our housekeeper provided additional coffee and cream for us. On checkout, which was slow due to a huge convention, the registration clerk allowed us to stay late. We couldn’t have been happier and it was a reasonable price for a great location.

Did a 2-nite weekend getaway with my wife. Very accessible parking to unload bags. Friendly, well-staffed valets. Did not park at the hotel, but a nearby less costly garage. No problem. Quick and available elevators. Speedy check-in, acknowldeged my Marriott status, and received an upgrade room. Clean room. Everything worked. Amazing gym. Great location. I’d definitely stay here again. Well done!

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience! All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I used the gym every morning and it was serviced every morning by housekeeping, I even saw it cleaned in the evening too. There was plenty of equipment in the gym as well, in good shape. Breakfast in the morning was very convenient, the refresh at night was great to unwind for a bit. The only drawback was the busy parking when we arrived at 5 pm on Saturday, but that's not the hotel's fault. The valet staff did great to try and keep everyone moving. The location was convenient to tourist attractions and subways. Our room was clean and the small kitchen was perfect as we were traveling with an infant and child. Our family felt safe and we're completely satisfied with our stay. Thank you for having us!

I loved everything about my stay at the Element. The staff was friendly, the room was great (loved the kitchenette and the floor plan; felt very spacious). The location was also excellent. The only deduction was for parking overnight, somewhat expensive. Overall though, excellent experience. I would definitely stay again.

After a stressful travel experience (ATC closed all flights due to severe weather), shout out to my reservation specialist for getting me THE LAST ROOM! Stephanie at check in at 2 am was amazing and empathetic. Check in process less than 3 minutes. Room was VERY CLEAN and QUIET. Bed was soft / comfortable. Breakfast was flavorful with plenty of hot and cold options. Secure entrance. Highly recommended.
