Electrify My Home has just finished installation of a Heat Pump and a Hot Water Heat Pump in our lovely Petaluma Victorian. The installation crew was easy and fun to work with: Dominic, Julian, Pedro, Manny and Daniel were all cordial, courteous and dedicated. They kept us informed of the progress step-by-step and earned our confidence. We are happy to recommend their good work! The work is all clean and squared, with due respect for our fine old home.

Larry & his team did such great job with sizing/installing my heat pump, sealing ducts and planning ahead for future work I'm considering - a comprehensive approach which I appreciated so much! J. Due to the configuration of our home, we did not think it would be possible for us to have ducted heating in our bedrooms, but they devised and executed a plan to make it happen. I know our job was not easy, but they had the skills and precision to do it. Everyone I interacted with was kind, respectful, and had a positive, problem-solver approach. Alex was very thorough when presenting the initial proposal to us over zoom and again very helpful when I had questions later. Daniel was an exceptional communicator when doing the pre-installation walkthrough with us, and he was very giving with his time, taking care to explain the process to us and make helpful suggestions. He was also available during the install to problem-solve when the team had to pivot to a different configuration based on an unforeseen circumstance. Dominic was an excellent project manager. He was easy-going and a pleasure to work with. He and his team including Manny, Jeremy, Cole, and others are very skilled at their craft. And I can't forget J, who always seems to know me when I call with questions. Everyone I interacted with was personable and also knowledgeable, which is a great combination. Electrify My Home (EMH) replaced our furnace with a heat pump and also our water heater. From the initial presentation via video chat to the end of the process EMH was awesome. The plan developed and presented by Larry was a better thought out design than those presented by other contractors - EMH was able to allow us to user our existing 100 amp electrical service rather than waiting for PG&E to upgrade us to a 200 amp service. One of the large benefits of EMH is that they handled the full installation - electrical, equipment, plumbing, insulation, application for rebates & permitting. There was no one saying that something was another contractor's area. EMH even assisted in zero interest financing. Daniel performed the first site visit and was able to point out some items that we hadn't considered. The result was that our system was installed with minimal changes to the initial plan. That meant no surprises! The crew that came out for installation was top notch. During my professional career, I'd worked with many contractors and EMH ranks at the top. David came out to prepare the electrical system and was extremely professional, beyond competent, efficient and courteous. Dominic and his crew, likewise, did an excellent job. I call them the D-team (Daniel, David, Dominic, Danny & Michael (middle name Dale), but they're really the A-team. I pity the fool who doesn't call EMH!

Electrify My Home does great work for a reasonable price. We had them install a heat pump, hot water heat pump and insulation. They were super knowledgeable and informative about options, as well as rebates. They also provided all we needed for the final inspection from the city of Berkeley. Both the heat pump and hot water heat pump work great and are much cheaper to run. The heat pump is also much quieter than our previous gas furnace. And the extra insulation that was added has been a major improvement -- even without the heat pump our upstairs rooms are much more stable in terms of temperature -- both summer and winter.
