This was such an amazing find! My friend and I were returning home from a long but wonderful road trip. It was supper time so we were hungry, but did not have a place in mind to eat. I asked Google for restaurants near our current location. This place popped up only 15 minutes away. I could not even pronounce the name so asked my friend , (who is Mexican BTW) If he could pronounce it and he had no clue(he has been here since he was a child so has not kept up on his language. However, he has always told me the best Mexican style restaurants are not the chain stores types but the small "Hole in the wall" places, I wanted to put this to the test. Boy was he correct! We walked in and were greeted with the the most appetizing aroma of truly authentic Mexican food being prepared in the kitchen, the place was packed but we soon had a table and my friend was able to order from the menu above the counter in broken Spanish, however the lady understood him just fine. Our order arrived at our table very quickly considering how busy they were. The plates were hot but not too hot and the food was delicious! Our entrees were paired with the best beans and rice I have ever eaten. The serving sizes were generous, and I was making yummy sounds upon every mouthful. My friend said that this is what he had been craving. I highly recommend this place to everyone. who loves Mexican style food or not, this place will surely become a favorite. WOW, WOW, WOW!
Everything seems to be made from scratch, fresh made tortillas with the tacos, I ordered al pastor tacos, they were delicious. Place could use a little more cleanliness, but overall good experience.
Very unique experience. It was my first time trying huitlacoche (corn smut) and it did look weird but it was very good, with a sweet yet savory earthy taste. Service was fast but not as attentive as other traditional diners or restaurants but hey, the place was packed for a reason: authentic Mexican food.
Prices are reasonable, food is authentic, and staff is very friendly. The tortillas are handmade, a must for a menudo/pancita. They are only lacking spicy/hot salsas.
This place has great mole dishes. Really some of the best in the valley.
Best Tlayudas! The sopes are good. One of the best mexican restaurants in Woodburn.
Best authentic Mexican food! Period!
Hands down the best comida Mexicana in Oregon, in my opinion. The service is really good too. I have tried everything on their menu, and I have my favorites, but everything is delicious.
Food was very delicious. Best Quesabirrias I have ever had hands down the best. Wouldnât go nowhere else, service is very excellent as well, very polite people. La Casa de Los Machetes will have me coming back for more of those quesabirrias for sur
Beautiful fields and a warm welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by the sunrise liftoff of three hot air balloons. We just received our shipment of tulip bulbs and are eager to plant them when our garden soil gets down to the right temperature range
This place has huge portions of food and everything is ALWAYS fresh! I would highly recommend this restaurant! Their Chicken Teriyaki is incredible, and their Fried Rice is also amazing! I have never had such flavorful pot stickers!!
It's a fantastic, local treat! While I can't say that it was the best burger I've ever had, I can say it was a big, juicy burger with fresh ingredients and not greasy. The bacon on the burger was top quality. I think the fry sauce and the "secret bur
Whra a great place to stay! Upon arrival Cynthia welcomed us with a smile and set up up in a very clean room. She was helpful and attentive to our needs and made sure our room was feather free. The maintenance man, John (I believe) was kind and gre
