El Tequila Mexican Restaurant & Bar Mcalester - Mexican restaurant in McAlester - 1415 S George Nigh Expy, USA

The staff are nice and friendly, however, the food is horrible. My grandmother would turn in her grave over these chilaquiles. The sauce smells like it has bean juice in it and there is absolutely no heat whatsoever. And the flan, OMG, the flan!!! The WORST I have ever seen or tasted. So over cooked, it's was burnt, and just plopped on the plate looking like a pile of poop, chunky and all. If you don't know real Mexican food and can't eat spicy, this is the place for you!

Great place to eat and very friendly, the foos and drinks are amazing 👏.

I got the alambres mixed and it was so good. The atmosphere was full and the waiters were always there to refill the drinks. The chips were warm and crispy and queso was as cheesy as can be. I have no complaints on the visit.

Lots of Mexican Food Restaurants in the area. This one is about average. The food was good, Service was good. The Atmosphere was not so great. By that I mean that there was nothing unusual or interesting as compared to others in the area. The restaurant was clean and the server was very nice. However, the interior almost looks like a cafeteria so it's not very pleasing. It was also very loud and that was made worse due to the echo off the walls. There's not much on the walls so not only does it make it feel like a cafeteria it also doesn't reduce the noise level. We'll go back when we're in the mood but there's nothing about this restaurant that makes we want to go back when we're considering Mexican Food for dinner.

Fantastic food; wonderful ceviche! The menu is huge. My only complaint was everything was soooooo salty (not the chips!). Fantastic guac.

They gave us trouble at first about our service dog, but they decided to let us stay. My husband wanted to make sure I gave a 5 star cause his food was delicious. He got the enchilada, Chilli reano #13. Said they were the best flavored. Food was served fast n hot. Our server was very friendly and checked on us often.

Great clean restaurant. There is plenty of seating. Salsa is just right. Food was served quickly, and portions are large, so bring your appetite. Familyfriendly, and the AC works well, too.

I love this place. They get you in fast, it's good food and they don't leave you hanging when you need refills or anything. Definitely my go to for this type of food in mcalester
