El Taquito - Restaurant in Miami - 13911 SW 42nd St, USA

Went here for a family get together and there was 9 of us. The location is a bit small but they were able to seat us because it was a little slow. Our server was amazing and very patient and kind. I absolutely loved the birria pizza to the point I ordered it the next day on Uber eats. I am a Colorado native that been in Florida for a little but couldn’t find Mexican food I enjoyed and this birria pizza took the cake. Highly recommend and very aesthetically pleasing . Great food and vibes.

For being in Kendall what a great ambience a little spot to go to for a super cute, reasonably priced amazing, authentic Mexican food restaurant. The happy hour was unbelievable two-for-one margaritas I definitely recommend as well as also the mules. The bartender was absolutely amazing. His suggestions were on point and the food was absolutely spectacular. I would have to say my favorite part of interaction with this bartender is that he tells me he is an authentic Mexican. Therefore, he was suggesting the best plates from the restaurant and based off of his opinion. He did not disappoint in anyway shape or form. I have referred this restaurant to several people already and I will definitely be back.

Ordered for pickup, place looks amazing, server and bartender were very friendly, however the food is where I doubt if I’ll order again. Hopefully it was just a slow night or something. I ordered steak flautas which were good, churrasco tacos that were also good but had few onions bc they’re so large on each taco and barely any cilantro, Al pastor tacos were better than the churrasco tacos except for having no pineapples (menu said there’d be pineapples). The side of rice is, I kid you not, 5 tablespoons of rice (see picture), the side of frijoles/beans are clearly watered down, & the side of guacamole was ok but already turning dark and needed lime but that’s just me being picky I guess. Hoping this review will help improve the spot as I really do want to give this place another chance.

This resturant was highly recommended by MrEats305 on IG and he was absolutely right! My daughter and I had the best Mexican food we've had in years. The most outstanding meal was the Birria Quesopizza! OMG! It tasted so good! The Chorizo Queso Fundido was also delicious! I don't know how we did it but we also shared the Chocoflan for dessert...the best ever!! We also wish to thank Zachary S for his prompt attention and being an excellent server. He was constantly on the move between customers and took care of everyone. He's very organized. This is a very nice place, clean and nicely decorated. There is outdoor seating also. Parking is right out front with wheelchair accessiblability. We will be back. We also did a takeout order of steak and carne asada tacos for tomorrow's dinner.

Looking for a late night meal on a Sunday when we came across this little gem. Showed up about 30 minutes before the posted closing time and they were still very welcoming and accepting! Our waitress was Nicole who recommended excellent choices in drinks and food. Very sweet and polite the entire time. Additionally, Linette the manager, showed some real top-of-the line customer service skills. More people in the service industry should be like Linette. Super pet friendly, even offered my pet a bowl of water. Again, the level of service I received here was top notch. We had the chips and cheese and an elote for appetizers which were fresh and really good. The tacos were delicious (carnitas, chicken, steak, al pastor). Additionally the salsas were in point too. They had a cilantro sauce which was not spicy, a chipotle sauce which was medium, and the habanero which was hot. All had great taste so the spicy didn't overwhelm the food. You can taste the food and still get that nice kick. For dessert, Linette offered us churros which were really good! The service alone was enough to make me return. P.S. Margarita Mondays BOGO, Taco Tuesdays for $1 Tacos, and Karaoke Wednesdays for some nice entertainment!

So happy we found this place thanks to FB will be coming often, nice ambiance very clean, waiters were excellent. And most of all food was amazing. We had also quesadilla birria and taco de birrias which they don’t have in menu, you need to ask for it. Highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff for making it Special for my daughters birthday.

I loved the food at this restaurant. We had the queso birria pizza and it was delicious. The place is nicely decorated and they had music and a TV to watch videos. Would definitely come back again.
