El Tapatio - Mexican restaurant in Coquille - 64 OR-42, USA

I've ate there a dozen times, always great food,good service, and prices that are fair to the portion. I love that the beer is always cold, that's important to me. I will say this last visit had above exceptional service and food. I recommend this place, and more so to those like me ,,,,the cold beer lovers

Love to go here! The staff are simply wonderful! Every single time we’ve gone here, it’s been a great experience. The food is consistently tasty. Customer service is incredible. There’s never a wait to be seated and food comes out fast. This location is easily accessible to everyone. Bathrooms are clean.

This is one of the best dinner spots in Coquille. This family run community-based restaurant always has great authentic food. I have never been disappointed by the service or food here. Highly recommend...

There's a master Shirley Temple maker that works here. Lunch was around $12 pp. Excellent #3 combo! Super fast service with a friendly server. Very clean restaurant. The decor makes for a great atmosphere. When we went, they weren't super busy. Doing some walking shopping and when stop for lunch there.

Fantastic Chile relleno with very good rice and beans 🤯..... Fresh off the grill, extremely friendly service and atmosphere ... Give them a try you won't be disappointed 😁

Everything was great until it came time to pay the bill. Our meal was $30.95, but the check, after being rung up and using my debit card, was for $32.03. When questioned why it was an odd amount, they dithered around but finally explained that they had recently changed the company they use to process credit/debit cards and that company collects, from the customer, the fees that the restaurant would have to pay. Just as gas stations have signage for their cash or credit customers, they should have a placard of some kind at their register to let people know of these fees.. It was only a $1.08 more on our bill, but I don't like the fact that customers are not told (up front) about the restaurant fees we pay and are not allowed the option to avoid paying their fees by paying with cash.

DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT HERE. They charged me $8 for a tiny deli cup of guac and sour creme. The waitress recommended me the veggie burrito which was basically just stuffed with reheated frozen vegetables. And the pork that they serve taste awfully sour. First and last time here
