My first time eating at this location. The restaurant was fairly clean inside. The menu is pretty easy to read and understand. Pretty good size portions. The beans were good, the rice was okay. The shreadded beef crispy taco was tasty, the meat was seasoned perfectly. Chili Colorado burrito was also pretry good.
We did a Togo order. I had a carnitas Movado burrito. It was insanely flavorful. Carnitas tacos plate looked good. I wi return. It gets really busy and there s small staff. I wouldn't recommend going when it's dinner time. You ll be waiting.
I ordered their nachos with meat and they were really good. Place is old and outdated but I found their prices to be reasonable. Staff wasn’t over friendly but they were not rude. I had a good experience eating here. I ordered the large nachos with meat to eat there and saw that their plate to eat there was a lot smaller than the one to take out so I changed my order to take out.

Everytime the food is very good ..great people running the place.....in 23 years they have been outstanding in every way....
Honestly, I've been coming here since I was little. I came to visit a few times, and it was still the best! However, now I know what disappointment others were referring to. This time, my order was taken by new people, not the same faces and I am definitely disappointed. You could tell tortilla barely touched the comal. They added more beans than rice and meat. I thought I ordered from Taco Bell. Even the horchata did not taste the same. So, for me, the ratings were 2.5.
I had a somewhat combative exchange with an older lady behind the counter. I was not familiar with a plate versus combo. She looked at me like I was bothering her and that I should've known how to order. Other than that The Lengua burrito and the Hard Tacos were delicious.
My favorite item is the chile relleno burrito and out of 12 of them 11 have been undercooked so its hard. Everything else is good though. If you want a chile relleno burrito go to jesses taco de mexico.
Update 20 minutes later: Made my stomach hurt! I had to throw it up. It was tasty but regrettable. I should've gone with my gut when I said I was skeptical about the hole in the wall.
I just had the menudo. It was tasty, and comes with harmony. The tortillas are not home made. It was a little hole in the wall so I was skeptical, but I have to say I enjoyed it.
Welcoming restaurant that serves great carnitas. Ordered a one pound combo plate to share and was not disappointed. Excellent food, customer service. Clean restaurant, restrooms.
Just went back for the first time after being closed since Covid. Lovely family service as usual and amazing burritos. They don't have a full menu yet, but you can get your fix again of chorizo egg and potato burritos. So excited to support this nei
EAT HERE! This place was highly recommended by a colleague, and the food was amazing. I ordered two Sopes, one pastor, one pollo. The horchata was one of the best I have ever had. I need to get back and try some of the other items! Fresh ingredi
At first glance the prices are a wee bit expensive ($4 a taco for fish or shrimp), but you get unlimited tortilla chips and salsa which are both made FRESH. Best seafood tacos in SoCal, I dare say. Personally I like the shrimp tacos more than the fis
Awesome food and awesome people. Also, this is an AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant, the least you can do is speak Spanish or use google translate to order.
Fair price for fantastic and authentic Mexican food.
Guys, how does not love good authentic Mexican food? Well, if you do, here is a must to go. I had their carne asada mulita, there parillada " I recommend if you want to taste a little bit of all there meats" and there churos. I was fantastic, it mad
They have yummy food here. I had a shrimp burrito that was really good and a couple of tacos that were also good. The so called home made tortillas were kind of a let down though, not strong enough to hold your food in it. Overall, good experience th
The quality of the food was beyond reproach. Taste and presentation of food couldn't have been better. Food temperature was HOT and freshly made. Will definitely return. Kudos to the chef..Jukebox with authentic Mexican music was a great touch.
Good food. Nice place. Was recommended by the mortuary we went to that day to pick up my moms ashes altho we had seen it on the drive in. I love shrimp & we had different varieties. Was very good.
