This is one of those "Food is good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it" places, but if you're in the neighborhood, it's okay. Nothing is bad on the menu.
Service is a little slow.
Seating is limited. Go at popular times be aware you may not have a seat.
So good! We stopped for takeout on the way to our hotel on a road trip. Cool spot downtown, but we found parking on the street. Great experience with service and delicious food. They did forget our tortillas for one entree, but we had so many chips, we didn’t mind. Just maybe check your bag if you pick up a large order like we did. Highly recommend the burritos with the fried plantains inside, and the birria!
I had such a great time at El Sur. Service was fantastic and the food even better. We had such a great time in the back room area. There are ping pong tables, darts, and other games you can play. Don't forget to try the Sangria - so good!
I have tried everything on the menu and it is all amazing. Most recently, I had the chicken taquitos and they were 10/10. El Sur is one of my favorite restaurants in Central Arkansas!
Just look at my pictures. If you need words to describe it, this place ain’t for you (first pic is Chilaquiles with Chorizo, second pic is a Baleada with Al Pastor). The Chamber of Commerce needs to put this place in its brochures as a reason to move to Little Rock
I tried the pollo chuco and taquitos, but honestly, they were nothing to write home about - both a bit on the bland side. On the bright side, the place itself is really nice, and the staff is super friendly!
Honduran food!! This is a great place! Owners and staff are very friendly and passionate about their menu. The menu has great options as you will see. Everything purchased exceed our expectations. Chips seem to be homemade daily, the salsa is LIGHTS OUT - a Smokey charred taste to it. The Con Todo is really really good. I’m Alamo a fan of the pupusas! We will be returning and telling our friends about this place. Great work El Sur!
