Authentic Mexican cuisine and wonderful cocktails in a laid-back, hospitable restaurant. Service is friendly and attentive, the food is wonderful and can't be beat locally this side of the border. Thanks for a wonderful dinner! We will be back!

Food was good. Service very good. I understand food prices have gone up tremendously over the past few years, but at the same time the level of food should match the dinner cost. Bang for the buck, whether its a fancy place or a dive spot, is my measuring stick.

We come here often and it is always delicious and you can’t beat the prices that’s for sure! Great food, drinks and comfortable atmosphere. We have had service from almost each person there and everytime they’re great and go above and beyond!

Me and my family order from this restaurant frequently but after my experience tonight I will not be back. The to go boxes were covered in hair. Not long strands! Short little hairs like maybe one of their cooks just got a haircut or something. Anyways I called the restaurant to let them know what was going on in a very calm manner. I work in the service industry and i am a very considerate person but the manager argued with me and never tried to make things right. I went back to the restaurant and brought the food back and basically got laughed in my face!!! @ that point I yelled everyone they got hair in the food! The manager then said please don’t do this ma’am and offered a refund! I left my order there that I paid $60 for and will never be back… I really wish I took photos before returning the food it was disgusting!!!! Mexican was my favorite and honestly I don’t ever want it again !! That’s so nasty!!!!! BE CLEAN

Always delicious!!! Had live entertainment, a gentleman playing numerous guitars and singing. It was a wonderful dinner. Great service always. Clean and friendly starting at the front door. Enjoy!!!!

Excellent Mexican food. Very low priced for the scenery and service. Waiter was very good and knowledgeable of the menu. This is one of our favorites in the Biloxi/Ocean Springs area!

I’ve been to both restaurants— this one and the one in Biloxi. Ordinarily, when a restaurant had completely inattentive staff, there is just no way I’d give them four stars. Likewise, the cleanliness is a little marginal as well. BUT THE FOOD IS RIDICULOUS. So I cannot go below a four star review. I just can’t. Because the 24-oz Margarita (be it mango or traditional) is just amazing. I had the Zacatecano Shrimp and they were stunning, while my partner had the carnitas burrito and he loved every bite. The food is first so good, it makes you forget about the fact that you had to wipe off your seat or your server was missing for huge chunks of time.

My sisters and I were there on a Thursday night around 7pm. We are from out of town, had been traveling all day and were ready to start our vacation. We were seated right away and the waitress was prompt to take our drink orders. The food came very quickly and looked very good. But it was cold. I cut into my California burrito and it was not even room temperature. The cheese sauce on top was barely warm. Our other 2 entrees were also cold. I informed the waitress that our food was cold and she said she would have to ask the manager if there was anything they could do about it. She came back and told us the manager said the California Burrito would always be cold because it had lettuce and tomato in it. I handed her a piece of the meat from inside and told her that lettuce and tomato would not make the meat cold. She offered to microwave out food to heat it. When I refused to allow her to microwave the food, she did bring the manager over. He agreed to have our food remade. We asked the manager and waitress if we could have more salsa while we waited. When 2 of our 3 entrees came out we still had not received the salsa and asked the waitress again. The waitress came back to the table and was asked a third time for salsa. After another 10 minutes, my sister got up from the table and got the salsa herself. My California Burrito came out just as my sisters finished eating their dinners. The first thing I did was touch it and it was barely warm. Nothing on the plate was more than warm. When I told the waitress she said she took the plate as soon as it was put in the window. That means it came out of the kitchen cold. Since everyone else was finished eating, I told her that I didn't want it anymore. The manager was at the cash register when I checked out. When he asked how our dinner was I told him that I was very unhappy that my dinner came out cold a second time and that I was leaving a restaurant hungry. He said the kitchen had probably added cheese to the cheese sauce and it hadn't come to temperature yet. THEN WHY SERVE IT?! He argued with me that it should have been acceptable. I would not recommend El Saltillo to anyone.
