I never do reviews hands down worse Experience. Egg was over cooked, chicharron was rubber and a quarter of the actual piece, arepa was as hard a stone, didnt give me sweet plaintains and do you see what they gave me for a piece of chorizo!!!! Parcha with milk was digusting, beans had no flavor a seemed weeks old. Steak was the only think bareable but cold. Way over priced for the horrible portion they give you. I had ro throw away the food. I wouldn't offer it to a dog.

We came to El Rey De La Papa Y La Paisa a few weeks ago for lunch. Overall, the food ranged from good to OK, with the highlight being the Empanadas, while other bites weren’t as tasty or as nicely done. The staff was friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible but, the service was erratic in some basic aspects.

I had a wonderful experience at this Colombian restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We ordered Bandeja Paisa, Sampler and Soursop juice in water. However, I'd love to see more Colombian atmosphere in the restaurant, perhaps through decor or traditional artwork. Also, it would be great if they could change the music from house/trance to some lively Colombian tunes like vallenatos or other authentic Colombian music to enhance the overall experience.

As a fellow Colombian, all of the food especially the Sancocho, empanadas, frijoles, and churrasco felt just like home! All of the meals we had were a big portion and so delicious with so much flavor! I ordered parcha juice which was so good too. Our servers were so nice and made sure we had everything hot and fresh. My entire meal was worth every penny. Highly recommend. You wont regret it.

Again my wife and I purposely look for a small diner. This place fit all the markers for us. We wanted some authentic Cuban fare and found it. Great taste and quality Steak and onions with yellow rice and black beans. Chicharonnes and sweet plantains with crème. Oh and let’s not forget the empanadas chicken and beef.

Not bad at all! El Rey De La Papa Y La Paisa is one of the few Colombian restaurants in this area (most of the others are further south toward Kissimmee) so I guess in that respect, it’s the best Colombian restaurant in this area! As a group, we ordered several different things from their menu, and they all were bigger plates with a whole bunch of different things on them. I definitely have to come here a few more times to get a full picture of the restaurant, but from my first time coming, I don’t have many complaints. The food was flavorful, the servings were huge, and the prices were good! You can lunch for as cheap as $7 here, or maybe even less?! The only reason I’m taking away a star is because the steak was pretty tough. It was super flavorful and I loved the onions, peppers and eggs with it (plus the plantains were excellent), but yeah, maybe avoid a dish with a big slab of steak because it’ll be tougher than you’re expecting. I bet pulled pork and meats that are marinated will be awesome here though! We will be returning to try more items from their menu!

The food took very long to get to us. The food has no seasoning. I ordered the papa suprema and the ground beef was dry. The vegetables were not the kind you’d put in a baked potatoes and also not seasoned at all. The potatoes two were partially hard as if it wasn’t cooked properly. I wouldn’t go back. The server was a nice lady.

Very yummy food that treated authentic from what I can tell. The service was fast, and the portions were large and flavorful. Loved the potato supreme but would definitely add a little more protein to it next time, probably the shredded beef. Tried a bit if the pork loin and octopus salad and were tasty! Everyone was happy with their food! I would come here again for sure and recommended to friends!
