El Ray Motel - Motel in Wildwood - 4711 Atlantic Ave, USA

We booked this motel for a couple of days and we loved it. The owner and employees were very nice and helpful. There is a really nice clean pool. The room was perfect, very clean and only a few hundred feet from the beach, boardwalk, Wildwood gigantic sign and tram car. The location is perfect. I do recommend this place.

Great experience! It has a restaurant on the compound.It's located 3 minutes walk away from the beach. ⛱️ The board walk is 2 minutes walk away.Beautiful ambiance. Rooms smell fresh like new born babies. The compound is always clean and tidy. The housekeepers are always available for your service. I just love the El-Ray Motel. It's a home away from home.💯💓💟🩷💘💝💖❤️‍🩹❣️😘🥳it's a family oriented Motel. Bring your entire family. It's just not pet friendly nor smoking in the rooms. Strictly smoking outside at the ware of the building.☝️🆗🥰

If you want to go low budget this is the place for you, never mind the overall musty smell and 3rd world cliental hanging their dirty cloths on the railings !||Visiting this place will hopefully inspire people to better themselves and improve their standing in society so they DON'T HAVE TOO stay at a place like this !||Overall I noticed that the rooms where very tight and passage around the hotel in and out was SERIOULSY PRE Fire Code Standards. ||If you like DEVELOPING NATIONS logging standards go for it !

So the reviews are tricky. Theres one EXTREMELY GHETTO side of the motel and then there’s the suites you can pay for. I got a double standard on the ghetto side. My room wasn’t cleaned before I checked in and was the size of a closet with an outdoor patio table shoved in the corner where you would literally have to climb across the bed to sit down at. Im sure they swept in front of the door and put soap in the bathroom but there was Doritos and food under the beds. The air conditioner was moldy and made the room smell like something was burning. The headboards were falling off the wall. They had extension chords hanging because of everything plugged into them and the light flickered the whole time. I had no shower head or water pressure and took a day to find out that cold was hot and hot was cold. The maid came the first night and dropped off two towels and an envelope that said “thank you” maids and I would have been more than happy to tip if they actually cleaned the room. Never emptied my trash which was overflowing and never came back with towels after the first day. The toilet was not attached to the floor. It overall was gross and my daughter didn’t even want to sleep in the bed she brought blankets and slept on top of the flat sheets they used for fitted sheets which had gross stains on them. The pool is a joke with maybe 4 chairs and no space to even walk around the pool which is only open between the hours of 10-7pm. After all of that we finally get to leave and I pull my car out of the private parking lot and my passenger side door was hit in the lot. The owner was literally guiding cars in because it was so full. My mirror was bent in so whomever parked the car and hit mine realized they needed more room I guess? I’m beyond frustrated. Brand new car and had to make a police report for a hit and run because there are no cameras. Save your money for the prices you pay here, and go somewhere else.

Room 18, has no AC. Stayed at this hotel.with my mom last week and we had no air conditioner!!! She went to the owner. He claimed to have fixed it. But we had to sleep with the window open because the air conditioning still wasn't working. When she requested for a refund the next day the guy told her to call the website she made the reservation through. My mom called, they reached out to the hotel owner and the guy completely lied!!!! Don't waste your money on this place.

The room was hot, it looked more like a run down motel. The service was horrible. They charged us $350 for 1 night and we didn’t check in until 6pm. Asked for extended check out since we got in late was told no. Then charged another $40 because we ended up having another person stay with us. At check out right after I turned in the Keys my son asked to use the bathroom. The owner and his wife said no. Go to the boardwalk, (which was blocks away). I kindly said ok thank you and the wife got offended, started yelling at me then the husband got in my face yelling that we were trespassing because we checked out. When another resident said you can use my bathroom the owner yelled no visitors allowed and didn’t allow us to use the bathroom. My husband had 2 gold chains on and the owner start saying you (bleep) gangster get out of here. We are weren’t there even 24 hours and was treated like poop! It’s crazy how bad this hotel is. Location is far away from everything including the good part of the boardwalk is extremely tight and limited, we had no room service at all. The pool was constantly clogged and loud not to mention dirty. Paint looked 100 years old, AC barely worked, the door was flimsy and couldn't close all the way the TV was made during world war 2 and was dirty, dust everywhere in the room, the beds looked like they inhabited 200 or more forms of bed bugs, the extension cord was from the wall was hanging on for dear life, the toaster and coffee machine were rusting and disgusting. The fridge did not work and leaked everywhere. Bathroom was extremely small and looked like it was made for dwarves. The toilet, sink and shower water was extremely foggy and gross, we were not offered any towels or service until we were all ready checked out. Lastly. 400 for a hotel this garbage is a high price, pay the extra 2 or 300 dollars and get a better experience closer to everything and have a better time. Recommendation, the Brittany.

Rudest employee working the front desk, scams people, and the place is run down. Don’t fall for the trap of thinking this motel will be anything better than the low price you pay. Truly bad experience with them, and should not be open to the public.
