El Rancho Motel - Featured Reviews (82)
Had to hear my girlfriend freaking out about gunshots, roaches and the shower + lights not working. Lots of outlets were not working either, the tv shocked her TWICE, the beds were also very hard, it was also very cold during the night. And I was just a bystander to all of this, I can't imagine actually being there with everything she was showing and telling me about. You're lucky this place even got 1 star, that's only because the receptionist guy that helped her get a room was very friendly. She also liked how close her car was, she says.
Positive: Location Negative: Was dirty and cockroach infested nothing worked in the room as it should this hotel was in very very bad shape ..there was old mattresses and parts to beds laying out side . Doesn't look nothing like pictures ....m Negative: ""
Older motel but has been updated nicely! Was initially a billing issue but got resolved by the owner as soon as I addressed it. Only $10 upcharge for dogs, which is quite a steal compared to elsewhere. The front desk man is very courteous and helpful. There was a hornets nest adjacent to our door and at 11:45pm the owner came and sprayed them down himself, as soon as we notified them. Perfect location easy to highway on and off, McDonald's next door. Extremely reasonably priced, non smoking rooms weren't smoky like I experienced at the last hotel I stayed at. Rooms are very spacious with cute little tables in them! Would definitely return!
PS NO BUGS (roaches or bed bugs) I checked neurotically
The room I had was clean and everyone was really polite
Rooms were very decent for the price. Nothing special but no bed bugs or any notable issues so I have no complaints. The night as well as morning people in the check in room were extremely friendly.
The room was filthy. walking on the Floor turned my feet black from all the ash? or black dirt? Room was a non smoker and smelled like someone had smoked heavily in it. I was too tired to even bother. walls are thin and The cleaning lady complained for more than a whole hour about how she work so hard and yet did very little. It was advertised as $60 but was actually $80+ tax. I wouldn't recommend. Go to motel6 south of the airport. There is so much more that needs to be said but it is my first and last time at this hotel.
Historic and restored nicely, great restaurant attached. Staff was super friendly and they are pet friendly with a fenced in area for potty. Only things I didn’t like was that pets are limited to 35 lbs. it’s the owners responsibility to keep animals under control so why limit the size? There are good and bad pets of all sizes. Also the train nearby does run constantly which isn’t a big deal during the day you barely hear it - but at night bring a white noise machine. My 9 month old slept all through the night but not me, lol. Room was clean and I love how they r named after the Hollywood stars. We brought a trailer and parked by the older motel rooms, we felt safe while at the hotel.
Positive: Very clean and safe hotel. Management is professional and accommodating. Any time I needed anything or had a question, I was helped promptly. Very kind and courteous staff, from the front desk to housekeeping. Location is close to interstates and airport. Negative: "" Negative: ""
Afrobites is in the top class of food trucks. They offer safety and excellent customer service (which is hard to find nowadays). Their hours of operation are consistent, they're menu is easy to read and order from. They bring your order on a serving
