These are the old mom and pops motel. The rooms are clean. The owners are nice people. Only thing they have a "ring" at entrance door. May take a minute or two for them to answer. Side note- if you have children. Make sure the TV is on normal programming. I checked into a run. Just turned the TV on. It was a X rated show!!! Not the owners fault. The person before.
They were disrespectful. They lied about damage curtains that haven't been changed since they first opened the television only get one channel it's the worst place in Stockton even the budget is better
My Aunt came to visit and she stayed here. She wound up leaving due to the power constantly going out and the constant disrespect of the staff. She drove all the way home and when she returned in the morning, her dog was in the car with her (the dog never entered the room). He refused to return the deposit because he accused her of having her dog which she did not. He tried to say there were hairs in there (which there were not from her dog being in there). She paid $130 for the room and $50 for the deposit. She could have stayed at a nice place for that price and actually could have had a good time. She chooses the smaller places because of small business preferences and this is how she’s treated.
Very quiet place, no one was around when I had stayed there. The people in the office did take longer than expected to come up front. But the rooms were clean, looked nice. It was comfortable.
I arrived at the hotel at 2:00 a.m. I checked in went to go into my room with my service animal he refused me service told me my dog was not a service animal ask for requirement licensing which is illegal would not listen to me as I tried to show him 88 requirements then had to audacity to say that I was not disabled and screaming at me and kicked me out of the hotel My dog was not causing a ruckus was not barking I didn't even get to stay in the hotel yet I was letting him go to the restroom this is a Pauline and I will be filing a lawsuit enjoy and the only reason I did not give it zeros is because I could not
I didn't even get to the lobby before being given the most horrible customer service EVER. I parked out front... in a parking spot, they don't have loading/unloading area, so it seemed like the only place appropriate to park would be near front lobby. I was looking up their number to get a quote before getting my kids out to book a room. I hadn't even been able to dial before some young lady came to my door and asked if they could help me , at first I thought this was a great way to handle a situation if they thought I was trying to park there without checking into a room except this clearly wasn't the case. When I looked up there was another older woman behind the first and both were giving me a disgusted look. I do not look like I'm coming of the streets one, and two even if I were this was still a horrible way to treat another human being. I tried to explain what I was doing, but I couldn't before the older woman started speaking in their language, and then said in Enlish "You can not park here it is for residence." I'd give it neative 5 stars if I could. I told them never mind I'll find another place to get a room. They both stood out side with their arms crossed to make sure I left.
The folks in the office weren't very forthcoming with information in the kind of rooms and amenities available and when I asked for a room for one night, the woman tending to me gestured for me to give her my money but never quoted a price to me and when she returned, she only handed back $10 of the $100 dollars I had handed her. Considering the room size and lack of amenities, not to mention the poor customer service and getting scolded for accidentally parking in the wrong space, $90 is awfully steep for one night at this place, but thr rooms are cleaner than any other I have ever stayed in so I won't complain too much aboit it all.
The rooms seem to have thick walls. I would leave my bathroom window open when I would go to work, and my room was cool when I would get back. And more importantly, I really couldn't hear my neighbors. There is a very fine Mexican restaurant across the street. And, Weinerschnitzel next to it. The area is quiet and calm. Very peaceful and relaxing at El Rancho. It is surrounded by orchards. You get a full size fridge in your room, but a microwave in the lobby. You can cook-out in the courtyard, if you like. Room gets cleaned on Sundays. By the way, I was here for a few months while working. Anyhow, the freeway is right there, so getting to it was never a problem. You deal with zero traffic in getting to it. Civilization is a half mile down the road. I think that's nice that you can relax in a somewhat country setting, and drive approximately 3000' to get to town. Very, very convenient location. And, it's under video surveillance. This place is a most excellent deal for people looking for affordability, convenience, peace, but not really hung up on looks.
If you have no idea what you're doing at a regular gym like In Shape or Planet Fitness and want someone to actually show you how to use the weights and machines then this is the perfect gym for you. I have been going here for a full year now and I lo
