El Patron - Mexican restaurant in Flushing - 194-01 Northern Blvd, USA

Been here a few times. We enjoy the vibe. Sometimes it's quiet and easy to talk (see vid) other times it's a bit louder. Food and atmosphere are enjoyable but one really goes for the fun margaritas and drinks.

I went there this week and I enjoyed my time there. Just went for a couple of hours for drinks and an appetizer, but I was definitely pleased. I had the pina colada and tried different frozen margaritas, and they were all delicious! In terms of liquor, they were not strong, so if you like your drunks strong, be sure to ask for an additional shot. I tend to enjoy the flavor more, hence why I ordered the fruity drinks, and I was happy. I also tried the chicken tacos, which were also yummy! Chicken seasoned well. Service was friendly and attentive.

El Patron is known for their food and their nice frozen margaritas in the small patron bottles. I’ve been here many many times. Last time I was here service and food was great. I tried the enchiladas & delicious. But the drinks were not it. Especially not for the price. Tried another margarita and it was not it, the amount of sourness just doesn’t even let you enjoy the drink. I’ll be leaving some pics, hope this helps.

I love the food the people and the atmosphere everyone is so nice the food is Delicious I have. Been their so many times and I have told other friends and we have been going their every since thank you El patron love it 😍

Everything was amazing!! I’ve been eyeing the place and always smelled their delicious food when walking by and they did NOT disappoint! So glad i tried it and look forward to going again. Only thing is the coconut rice needs to be toned down, I love coconut but that was overkill lol.

Small restaurant with tasty dishes and drinks. The staff is very attentive. The first floor of the restaurant is quite small. I did notice that the restaurant has a second floor, but I didn't explore it. I had steak fajitas and a frozen strawberry daiquiri. The streak was marinated and seasoned very well. It was cooked with green peppers, onions, and mushrooms. The fajitas came with warmed tortillas, guacamole, pico, and sour cream, rice and beans. The frozen strawberry daiquiri costs only $5 during happy hours between 3pm to 7pm on weekdays. The daiquiri was delicious and blended very well. I would recommend both. I didnt like that the plates and cups were made of plastic. The plastic ware definitely conflicted with the overall vibe of the place. It was a lil off, but the food are drinks were worth the visit.

Drinks are ok, but took 1 hour+ to get appetizers , and they were not even hot. Didn't want to wait for main course. Tip on bill read & check carefully. Cash discount is the lower amount?

The largest and most flavorful buritto I’ve ever had. would have been five stars plus if the steak wasn’t overcooked and dry. At first I had sticker shock, but then I ate what I got worth every penny Will definitely give them another try.
