El Patio Motel - Motel in Key West - 800 Washington St, USA

Very cute, authentic hotel. Great price, convenient to everything in Old Town. Very clean and comfortable. Keep in mind that this is an older building, so no central air. The window unit was more than sufficient. Our unit had a kitchen area that more than met our needs. The bathroom is small, but keeps to the authentic vibe. We loved the rooftop patio. The courtyard was perfect for a quaint family breakfast. The only thing we would change is the pool closing at 8 (we like night swimming). We will definitely stay here again!

One of the cheaper properties in Key West but by no means did that mean the quality of their offering was less.||I was absolutely thrilled with my stay here. It was a fifth of the prices that other hotels were asking for and all I wanted was a clean room to sleep and shower in.||Key West is EXPENSIVE, but this little place made my trip possible.||Beautifully clean room, which was a lot bigger than I was expecting. A great shower, refrigerator, ice cold AC, clean towels and toiletries and nice and quiet. The WiFi worked well and the little pool area is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of free parking was also available. They clearly take pride in their hotel.||I wouldn’t even describe this as a motel, more of a budget hotel.||It’s a short work to Duval Street and also to the beach. Super close to the airport too if that’s something that you require.||Nice friendly staff and I was made to feel very welcome.||I’d definitely stay here again.

Charming, no fuss no frills mid century Motel. Staff was kind and accommodating. Beautiful courtyard, nice lowkey little pool and cute rooftop. I was totally smitten with the original elements that remained intact; I hope El Patio will lean into its history more with the decoration (why be so shy with white interior walls, plain sinks and conservative wall art, when you have these amazing floor and windowsill tiles, jalousie windows/doors, etc?). If you like a sterile environment that makes you feel like you are at any chain hotel in any city, keep looking. If you like a comfortable place that reflects Key West history, pick this one.

This is my second stay at the El Patio. This is not a fancy hotel. However, it has a lovely vintage vibe with old Cuban floor tiles and original light fixtures. They give you plenty of towels and keep everything clean. The grounds are beautiful and kept immaculate. The staff is very accessible and are happy to help. We rented a golf cart and never had trouble parking at the motel. I love it!

I stayed for 2 nights on a 2 bedrooms suite at the El Patio Motel in May. Rooms are not modern but both have a TV and there's the wi-fi that is not working so well. The pool is ok and the staff is really helpful. It is possible to order food and to eat it on tables that are outdoor. The hotel is really close to the town center and there's a vending machine for the cola or water you need. The main problem is that doors don't seem so safe and during the nights we stayed there some drunk people was making confusion and screaming and knocking on doors. Since our door wasn't so safe and they were knocking really hard we were a little bit worried

Motel is very out dated!!! The location is amazing!! Minutes away from the beach. No microwave, no elevator..The salt water pool was fantastic! Customer service was fabulous!! I just wished the room looked better. Loved the rooftop.

If you want to stay in the lap of luxury, choose another hotel. If you are looking for a quiet, old Florida style motel in a nice neighborhood, this is it! The rooms were super clean-no bugs at all-which can be hard to do in Florida. The pool and pool area were also immaculate. The man in the office was very nice and helpful with all of our questions. I would definitely stay there again!
