El Paraiso Mexican Grill Monroe - Restaurant in Monroe - 14090 Fryelands Blvd, USA

My friends and o dined here and had a wonderful experience. We were greeted with fresh pressed tortillas and strong mojitos. I loved my chicken taquitos, it was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Top notch service, and a great view of the water. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Food and water view were both very good. Service was slow, waiter seemed completely checked out. Drink refill? Nope 👎🏻 checking back to see if there’s anything else you might need once the food arrived? Nope. 👎🏻 left my dinner check, but never came back, so I just left cash. Very poor service.

Decent spot for Mexican food, great atmosphere and location, the food is good not great, very little flavor in the chicken, chorizo was the best of the protein options. Now the salsa is on point with hot chips. In regards to service, that can be hit or miss. Usually it's good, but during my last visit I got seated in the back room and seemingly forgotten about. The people seated across from us didn't even receive water right away and had to ask. We were never checked in on after our food arrived, bummer as the salsa was so good. I'm surprised they don't have a bottle of tapatio on each table, that's what I see at most Mexican restaurants. Again, a decent spot...

Very wonderful place to eat. I had the seafood Chimichanga and it was great. Restaurant business is a very competitive world and if food wows me and if I just absolutely feel there’s something special to it then I consider 5 stars. I will give this restaurant their ability to give the Seafood Chimichanga a slight unique taste but I do not see this restaurant as a 5 star experience. 4 star review and I will highly consider coming back.

After having a service animal allowed sign in the lobby i was denied service because I have a service animal. I am disabled and stated that she is tasked trained. They even have picture in the front lobby about service animals. I stated that she was my service animal for me and was told to leave. We will never go there again

My first time eating Mexican food was great! I had the seafood burrito and couldn't believe how fresh the salad was that came with it! I'm a meat eater but thoroughly enjoyed the dish. The veggies, refried beans, and rice were delicious! The burrito was good, although I wish it had more seafood in it. The appetizers they brought were good too! Overall I'd highly recommend El Paraiso restaurant because I'd definitely go there again.

Two stars for the view! Food was “meh”, at best. Flan (pic) was curdled and burnt on the bottom. Given the other Mexican dining options in Monroe, all the others are better options for food quality. This place is okay for margaritas on the patio looking at the water.

My family and I have been coming here for years and this is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the whole area. The flavors are excellent and everything always tastes and looks fresh and homemade. We love the carne asada. My personal favorite is the steak fajita burrito- it's huge and the flavors are on point. They serve complimentary chips, medium salsa, refried beans, (and pico de gallo if you ask.) The service in the bar area is great! The bar manager is such a nice guy. We love their margaritas and mojitos and they have a huge tequila selection. You also get a special drink on your birthday! The restaurant is right on Lake Tye and most of the seating has great views of the water and sunset. There is a wrap around covered patio with lots of covered outdoor seating right on the water- it's so nice in the summer! This is not another chain Mexican restaurant and this location is far better for the food and service than the other El Paraisos! Thanks for all the good eats and times!
