We came for taco Tuesday because we wanted to try a new spot. The tacos were very tasty and the tortillas were cooked well! We got carne asada, adobada, pollo, and carnitas tacos. For about $20 we got 8 tacos and a Dr. Pepper with some complimentary chips and beans. The lady behind the counter was very nice. I would definitely go back. Thanks, El Paisa!
Excellent food. They gave us a free small plate of chips and beans with cheese on it when we arrived. I got the Chile relleno burrito. My friend got a carne asada salad. Both were delicious. The guacamole salsa at the salsa bar that they have here is the best I’ve ever had. Very friendly customer service.
Super salsa and they serve you beans and chips while you wait for your food. My order was special nopales and eggs it was absolutely delicious we'll go again
Best Mexican carrots I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I normally make my own since I’m pretty fussy. Not too spicy, not too mushy and not too hard. Five rolled tacos for seven dollars. I live on the East Coast. I manage to come here two or three times a year. And it’s not like I don’t have a 1000 choices for decent Mexican food. Extensive menu. This is the place.
I come here often and I’m always 100% satisfied.. The food is amazing and the customer service is phenomenal specially from a beautiful and very classy/ elegant young lady that’s there on weekends. She not only has made great food recommendations but is also polite and engages with customers making us feel welcome and at home.. She goes above and beyond her job duties. My wife and I had to stop by and give a shout out here because it’s she’s made our family outings at this restaurant very pleasant. we hope for continued success for this restaurant.
Definitely have to come back and try more items. Unfortunately, we did take away, so I don't think I can give a fair review. But we ordered 2 burritos and a Carne asada plate with a green enchilada on the side. The Emperador was HUGE and tasty. Portion size is not a concern. They are generous and flavorful.
We live in fallbrook but, my daughter works in Escondido so when I picked her up we looked for a place to eat and, we found this place and we decided to go in there because I was very hungry and, let me tell you the food was great and so was the service, I will definitely go back and recommend this place, I’m giving a 5 star because they have this salsa bar and they had my favorite salsa macha yummy
Great Carne Asada tacos!! And the rice and beans were excellent. The staff is super friendly and welcoming! I definitely recommend giving this place a try!
