I have to say that this was such an enchanting inn in the desert. I recommend a room on the second floor so you can view the desert mountains . Everything about this place transports you to Morocco from the lighting fixtures to the black and white movie Casablanca playing with subtitles. The room has mood lighting to create a warm ambience and so smart to have electrical outlet jacks on each night stand to charge phones and devices. The microwave, fridge are such nice amenities to have available. I loved my living area with a moroccan round brass coffee table to relax and enjoy the mint lemonade that the inn provides guests. The other amazing thing is that the hot water for shower and sink is fed by the hot springs and the heat is immediate. I loved the compimentary breakfast with bagel , fresh avocado and grapefruit with french press coffee and pineapple juice all poolside . Phil and Debbie just care for the guests like family. Their hospitality shines as bright as the desert sun. I will return as this is a special place

It is a great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful time. Very nice and warm swimming pool with, a covered private hot tub. free breakfast infrared saunas, Moroccan mint tea anytime,24-hour pools, Casablanca lounge, fire pits at night ... just makes you feel at home. i was sad to leave but always enjoy my staying there. I will not book anywhere else.

This place is truly magical. The vibez are amazing. The decor, the comfort level of everything, the amenities. You're staying at an inn with other guests but it feels so perfectly private. I achieved such a high level of relaxation. I can't wait to go back.

El Morocco Inn and Spa Resort is an oasis of luxury and relaxation nestled in the heart of tranquility. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The mineral hot springs offered a rejuvenating experience, soothing both body and soul with their therapeutic waters. What truly sets El Morocco apart is their unparalleled service - prompt, attentive, and always with a smile. Whether I needed assistance with reservations or recommendations for local attractions, the staff was there to ensure every need was met promptly and with care. The Moroccan-themed rooms and exteriors are simply breathtaking. Each detail is meticulously crafted, transporting guests to a world of exotic elegance. From the intricate tile work to the plush furnishings, every aspect of the resort reflects the beauty and charm of Moroccan culture.Overall, my experience at El Morocco Spa and Resort surpassed all expectations. It's a haven for those seeking relaxation, indulgence, and a touch of Moroccan magic. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

I am confused about the pool at the El Morocco. We were there in April so it wasn't hot outside, and I think the pool water felt too cool but maybe I exaggerate. On their website, it is advertised as a "warm mineral water pool." In another place on their website their pool and hot tub is advertised as a "Natural Spring Water Swimming Pool and Natural Hot Springs Spa." Perhaps the water does come from a natural spring, but I couldn't detect any "mineral" element in either the pool or the hot tub. Maybe the mineral content is just so low it couldn't detect it? ||The hotel is fairly small, located in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Desert Hot Springs. It consists mostly of a rectangular pool with rooms along one long side and double-decker rooms along one short side. When we were there, both saunas were broken. On one, the controller was broken. On the other, the door handle had been broken off, so from the inside you couldn't close it properly, and we couldn't get it up to temperature. The front desk is only manned until 5:00 pm, and there is apparently no staff at the property between 5 pm and about 9 am the next morning. Which is fine, but I think this lack of supervision is what led to some strange rules posted, such as "please refrain from having sex in public areas." Really, that is one of the rules. ||Breakfast was continental style, two items of your choice, like a bagel and yogurt, which they give to you in a little bag. We ate in our room. The rooms had microwaves if you wanted to warm up a cinnamon roll. Everything was prepackaged but okay. ||I couldn't tell if you were allowed to talk in a normal speaking voice while in the pool or not - I did once and got shushed, so switched to a whisper. The hot tub is a glorious temperature and huge, my favorite part of the hotel. ||Overall, not what I expected from their website, which is the reason for the three stars.

This place is a little oasis in the desert. Very welcoming and peaceful, just right for a couple of days of recharging.|The pool, hot pool and many sauna’s are such a treat. Didn’t even make it to the lovely back garden with hammocks. Next time!

Meh.||The description on here must be pretty out of date. There is no complimentary cocktail, just some very watered down mint lemonade. The “lavish” continental breakfast is a to-go bag that likely will not have all that you ordered.||The spa is frankly dirty and not maintained. There is a bunch of gravel on the bottom that came from who knows where. It just needs to be sucked out, but cleaning doesn’t seem to be part of the routine. The walls of the spa are green with algae.||The pillows died a few years ago.||I think this used to be a nice place, but has really been let go. It needs a good cleaning and some basic repairs and upkeep.||I’m afraid this will be a “one and done” trip for us. We’ve stayed in several places here. This was our least favorite of the bunch.||Also, my massage therapist was just not very talented. She also seemed overly worried about getting into any taboo landscape, to the point that a 90-minute massage only covered 50% of my body. I will say that my wife was happy with her therapist.||Best advice: skip it and try somewhere else.

Do not stay here. Should have really paid more attention to all the negative reviews. This place is dirty and dilapidated. The bathroom has mold all around the edges and the no fan. A lot of DIY fixit. The spa backyard is dry and dusty and the two saunas are old and dirty. Definitely not a 4 star maybe a one star.
