Every single staff member was so sweet and kind. I’ve worked in customer service for over a decade and something very unique that I noticed about every staff member we crossed paths with was that everyone seemed very genuine in their greetings and check ins. It didn’t feel scripted (even if it is). The energy is deserving of a raise <3 shout out to Carina, Jordan, Dolores, and everyone else!
The room was big and beautiful. We had ground access to the patio which made it really accessible to take our dog out into the huge grass field outside our room. The spa tub was soo nice. The bed was nice and firm, I wanted to take it home with me. The bathroom has really nice lighting. There aren’t microwaves but when we asked for one they accommodated us.
The pool/hot tub area was so gorgeous! The natural lighting, plants, and flowing water was really peaceful.
Food was amazing. Props to the chef and food service staff.
Typically I wouldn’t stay somewhere like this because of money. But this changed my perception and I will be coming back for a longer stay.
We loved everything about our stay, except for one thing. The spa pricing for a couple's massage is a per person rate and not a package rate. The website is misleading. Angela in the spa was fabulous in helping us navigate the discrepancy. Although we had one glitch, we will definitely stay there again.
This hotel is a gem! Nature is blended everywhere with luxury combined. Especially wonderful is the Anaconda bar staffed by talented mixologists who mix you delicious creations! The wine list is fun to explore with the expertise of the fantastic bar manager. Go!!!
Just checked in today, at exorbitant prices I expected a luxury hotel and spa. Unfortunately, the service I have received so far has been disappointing to say the least. We are a family of four staying 4 nights and got no help with our bags. We asked for a luggage cart to help us get bags to our rooms but they were all in use. Both the valet out front and reception asked if our whole party was present before we could check in. What? The valet gave us directions to park and told us if we couldn't find a space come back and they'll valet park us.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, but not what I expected at this price point.
We made reservations for dinner, and got a call that they wanted to confirm my reservation, but also to let me know that they didn't have availability for the time that i made the reservation.
I'm sorry I booked here and I'm incredible irritated at the price I'm paying. Considering canceling the rest of the week and going somewhere that doesn't feel like such a burn.
The hot tub suites are amazing! I highly recommend this for a quite getaway. Our room had a very private porch that was perfect and quiet. The hotel hot tub was also very beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for couples and groups of people who like an off-the-beaten path adventure.
This place is absolutely amazing...Totally beautiful! The ONLY thing I wish could've been different and to take note of: The jet bubbles to the hot tub did not work when we went 12/20/23 & their absolutely beautiful pool is NOT heated. In fact, it's ICE cold! This REALLY SUCKED bc that would've been so nice & it's One of the main reasons why I booked this place. Nonetheless, the hot tub was nice but the walk back to room wasn't in 25° weather haha, but we loved that experience so no complaints! Also, had an outside hot tub with our room we used, and looking at the snow in the cold weather was definitely a bucket list check off to do. The whole facility is beautiful and breath taking, and their hospitality services are beyond amazing. You're able to text your concerns or issues to the designated number and they respond right away. Loved the staff here for sure!
The hotel is beautiful, front desk is very friendly. The spa was weird. My therapist was amazing, took all the time to help me relieve my back, but in the background I could hear the manager yelling at the staff. My therapist gave an apology and we just went on with my treatment. But the food is delicious, and Greg at the bar makes an amazing cocktail.
Let me start with the positives. The property is beautiful, truly beautiful. The grounds are lovely and the building is well-appointed - the bar, the pool, the library. The staff is attentive and friendly,y, and we enjoyed happy hour at the bar. But, do not reserve a ground floor room. The sidewalk runs along the rooms, and unless you keep the curtain closed, there is no privacy. And that makes the room very, very dark. The hotel touts its views, which there may be if you have a second floor room. Disappointing. And, our room was not serviced one of the days we were there. Usually, I don’t care. But for the price and for a place that says it is a resort and when we asked (more than once) to have the room serviced, it’s the type of oversight that shouldn’t happen.
Nice and spacious.
Clean.
Old historical buildings, 1802
Plenty of room for 5 of us.
Great shower and huge bath tub. Couldn't get jets to work....
Couldn't get the inlaid fire Stove to work, pilot light went out, tried many times to relight it... Sti
Had an outstanding experience staying here. Rooms are spacious, charming, and comfortable, the value is excellent, and the staff was extremely helpful and personable. What puts it above and beyond other options is the free breakfast spread, which was
Taos Historic Inn is super charming and really good value given location and quality. We had a corner room way in the back of one of the buildings, and while the beds, bathroom, and amenities were great, the room itself was a little dark. I think tha
Not completely a Hilton (if youâre a Hilton Honors member looking for something specific). Itâs privately owned in partnership with Hilton and does not have some things that you may be expecting. There is different soap, no coffee or tea waiting
Terrific mix of old and new. Had a historic room with 2 queens and Kiva fireplace. Clogged sink was dealt with immediately. Expansive grounds and great views. Rooms are quiet and away from highway. Good restaurant with live music every night. Very
Me and my Partner had the pleasure of staying in Casita A while we stayed for an extended time in Taos. The property is peaceful, beautiful and welcoming. We loved staying in the Casita, it is incredibly cozy and includes everything you need. The kit
It has been a long Path leading me to this sacred place. I've been in temples with Baba-ji in my Sleeping Dreams, however this visit was my first in my Waking Dream. The love and dedication of his devotees is everywhere you look; the scents and sound
First time to Taos skiing and stayed here several days in the large main home. Lots of space with a big kitchen, living and dining area. Our group had for adults and seven kids, mostly teenagers. Kids took over the big dining table for card games etc
This place looks like itâs not in Taos! Itâs a hidden gem inside of the Taos Valley Lodge hotel. Spacious, super clean, welcoming. Large variety of coffees and tea shakers, along with some baked goodies and burritos. Fast wi-fi and lots of space
This is a delicious little food truck!!! Everything we've tried on the menu has been delicious. The fries and onion rings are some of the best I've had! The staff is super friendly and proces are reasonable!!
We have been traveling to Taos for nearly 30 years. We will never stay anywhere else again! The Old Taos Guesthouse has always been ideally located close to town with amazing views. However, now that they have added the new casitas, we can the choose
I'm glad we stopped in! I bought rye sourdough loaf, a baguette, a bearclaw, and a chile cheese croissant. My husband loved the bear claw, and I loved my croissant! I don't eat pork, and it's not easy to find a savory croissant without ham in i
