Authentic Mexican food with huge portions and great prices. The mole chicken was our favorite dish and is a must try. The carne asada fries were amazing and loaded with meat. And the beef sope was delicious and also large. We also tried the crispy chorizo & potato tacos, (2) for $2.49, crunchy, spicy and cheesy, again delicious.

Legit Mexican food. I ordered a shrimp burrito and a cheese quesadilla. Both, some of the best I've had. If you're familiar with Albertos in the OC, the food is very similar as is the salsa; very vinegary -- if you like that style. I personally do. Gets super busy during lunch, but plenty of seats to go around. The line does move pretty quick.

Was OK ! It was hard to find servers that spoke English, very surprised! The last time I ate there was in 2003. I worked for Fluidmaster, a few blocks away. The taste of the food was incredible as compared to my most recent visit last week, 1-4-2024. I ordered a steak torta, a tamale, four burritos, two chicken and two steak and the Nacho plate. The only food that had good taste was the tamale 🫔 and the Nachos. Everything else was very bland in taste and not worth my hard earned money. My family was not impressed after driving from Temecula and telling them how great this place was. I hope the food gets to the same great taste it was! Lou.

This place serves up the best breakfast burrito in San Juan Capistrano! Eggs, beans, cilantro, onion, cheese, red or green sauce, and the choice of one other item! I always get the potato with it and the red sauce! It’s so good! Go check it out if you are looking for an amazing breakfast burrito! Careful though other people have figured this out too as the line can get long on the weekends!

I live out of state and El Molino is the first place I hit when I come back here! The food portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh and the plates are made to order while you wait. I always get the shrimp taco and add rice and beans. It melts in your mouth, YUMMM. It's not exaggerating to say I dream of El Molino! In fact even writing this makes me want to go down and get the shrimp taco right now, plus chase it with a banana drink. It's that good! Thank you El Molino!

Hey there so this morning while on ortega highway i decided to call molino de oro to order a 2 egg special, knowing that it takes 20 min or more to make, i get there 30 min later to make sure they had enough time to prepare it; so it turns out that the phone number listed on google is not the correct number at all for this location, so i was bummed ofcourse cause i wasted my time, but food is really good like always and the customer service is amazing. I love their bread there, my hubby brought me some Tacos and a tamale but after eating two Tacos that were meh. I found a long curly black hair underneath my third taco. 🤢🤮🤮 I have medium length brown straight hair so definitely not mine. Disgusting!!! I would definitely not recommend this place. STAY AWAY!!!!

*A taste of Mexico in the suburbs!* If you're looking for some authentic guisado style and made to-go comida this is the spot. I was super hungry when I got here so I started off by ordering a birria combination plate that came with rice, beans, tortillas and all the fixings. It came with a side of consume which went well for dipping my tortillas in, while snacking on the combination plate. I also ordered a carne asada burrito with Chile Verde sauce (special request) inside. Let me tell you about this thing...first off it's wider than my fist and filled with carne, rice, beans, all fixings, crema y poco queso. I had to stop myself from overindulging in it because it was so rico baby! There's also a panaderia here as well that I have yet to try and the scents floating over while I was in line were pretty tempting I must say. Enjoy, go out and eat some!
