The food here has a very god taste, I really like the seasoning they use. I order a steak burrito, a torta al pastor to go and I was very pleasantly surprised. The steak burrito, torta al pastor had a decent amount of meat and both were very flavorful, the pieces of meat marinated to perfection pop in your mouth in every single bite. I personally think that they are slightly over priced for the area. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu.
I order a Fajita plate it was all veggies, there was about 4 small pieces of meat, I always order that dish from different places , never seen a plate like. That the waitress did not ask me if I wanted a different plate, I had to wait for my wife to finish eating, I was hungry watching her eat , The worst plate ever, The waitress has a bad attitude, plus she was asking another customer if they are going to leave a TIP Also the food took a long time to be served I’ve give this the 0stars

Every once in a while I find that hole in the wall that just makes you want to come back and try everything on the menu...... this place is it! Small whole in the wall restaurant that absolutely takes pride in the food they put in front of you. Every bite was delicious and filling. The food portion I had was well beyond my ability to eat it all but you can bet I tryed my hardest. If you are really hungry and want great food you won't be disappointed glad I did!
This is one of those 'hole in the wall' places that you would not assume to be so good based on the external facade. Having said that, the service and food is definitely worth visiting for. Exceptional taste at a very reasonable price. You will not be disappointed. Update 1/25/23: Had Torta asada and steak tacos. Torta was crispy and flavorful. The steak tacos basically consisted of steak, onions, cilantro on a tortilla. Both torta and tacos were delicious.
It's worth noting that we stopped in for a late lunch, and the place was packed - this place is the bomb! Whatever you decide to get, you will not be disappointed - each dish is served with the freshest ingredients.
ORIGINALLY POSTED UNDER JOLIET LOCATION, BUT SINCE THEY WANNA BE IN CAHOOTS THEY CAN GET IT HERE TOO: I was extremely disappointed by the rude woman who was at the cashier’s counter today. I ordered over the phone so that my food would be ready for my lunch break. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering at the Plainfield location. This wouldn’t have been a big deal to me, as I was willing to place an order right then and wait for it. However, the extremely rude woman at the cashiers counter refused to take my order, since I mistakenly ordered at a different location. Told me “you have to go to Plainfield to pick up the order,” like excuse me?? What, are you gonna MAKE me go to Plainfield? It’s not happening! And then had the audacity to say “if you order here we’ll be losing money,” …. Lady, please. When I don’t go to Plainfield, you’ll be losing money anyway, and you’ve lost my respect. So now you’ve lost two things instead of one. Hope she learns that that’s a really dumb business practice sooner than later.
Oh my GAWD 🤯 even in take out they continue in banging out great quality food and service. 🤤 I highly recommend coming here. The people are phenomenal and the food is mouthwatering. I ordered their chilaquiles with pollo 🍗 and holy cow 🐮 the beans were creamy 🫘 the rice was scrumptious and the eggs were well done to perfection. 👌🏽Even all their sauces are out of this world 🌎

One of the best FLGS I've been to. It's way bigger on the inside, has rooms for gamers to rent, and their gently used games clearance is the best. Found many an OOP game on my wishlist here. Always super friendly and helpful
A great place to bird watch, even if the Rookery is closed March-August and best of all, it is all paved (unless you go off-trail)! You're still able to walk to the viewing path during special events outside of nesting season. This is not an asphalt
