The beef birria tacos were so good! The meat so so tender and the cheese matched so well. The tortilla was so flavorful as well. The Al pastor tacos were good as well but the birria was more memorable. The onions and lime on both added good freshness. Come on taco Tuesday for their deals!!
Was told this is the best Mexican food on the island so we sought this place out when we were in the vicinity. This Mexican food is Jalisco style which usually means that the food is more soupier than traditional. If the flavors aren't there than its just a sloppy mess. Fortunately this food had a lot of flavor. There's a lot of Mexican joints I still haven't tried but up to this point I would say it's top tier. My only suggestion would be to replace the flour tortillas. They aren't freshly handmade and they really take away from the actual food inside. The food portions are what you would expect for the price. The staff is friendly and we were able to find shade at a nearby table.
The lady helping us was such a sweet lady! The food was okey, the tacos was very good! However the beans and rice was pretty bland and could have used some salt.. There are very few seating arrangements, but we came late and had no issues sittning down. Overall, average mexican.
Went on 26 Dec for lunch after doing post Christmas shopping. Fiance ordered the Carne Asada Fries and was a bit disappointed. The fries started off pre oily and soggy. When fried food comes out like that, it is a restult of the fry oil not being hot enough.
Digging through the carne asada fries, you can find fries at the bottom that did not have any sauce but were still almost slimy from the amount of oil on them.
Very good tasting Mexican food and friendly service with seating next to food truck but also expensive. Birria Tacos and Mangoniada came out to 24$ and it was only 2 very tasty and packed but small tacos with bland rice and beans. Other items on the menu may be better value.
They used to be really good when authentic Mexicans owned this truck now it’s owned by someone new and it’s the worst food truck I’ve ever been too. Nothing is cooked everything is pre bought then slapped together beans out of a can, wet tasteless rice just horrible. Don’t eat here!!! (don’t say you weren’t warned) enchiladas didn’t even sauce!! I wouldn’t feed my dog this.
I was blown away by how good the tacos were here! The birria and beef tacos were so tasty and so were the quesadillas. Highly recommended to refuel after a shopping spree at Waikele Outlet stores.
As far as Mexican food goes on Oahu, this place is okay, meaning average. I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt here because I grew up in California and spent a lot of time in El Centro. However, I do expect flavor and here it was lacking. Portions are smaller in comparison to other Mexican restaurants too, and with everything, the prices seemed to have increase recently. It’s just too bad the quality didn’t shift up as well. Three stars because the staff is pretty friendly.
The effects were really good and the actors are extremely talented. Scared me a lot and the props, lights, story and building was very well made. The actors were amazing not just in scaring people but also in customer service! I was lost for a bit b
