Always reliable, always decent food at a decent price. Clean, well run professional restaurant owners. Plenty of room inside. Amazing desert case, very good pancakes for breakfast. Never dissapoints. A welcome place for breakfast or lunch in a tough part of town.

My mom loves this place for breakfast, so I decided to try it as well. I ordered an omelet with hash browns and it was really good. I would love to eat inside next time since there was lots if people dining in and the staff were helpful and friendly.

12.30.23 Saturday. It was very good experience. The seating for 3: Me, my son and his gf. Went quickly. The variety of food selection was very good. We ordered appetizers and before we ate some, our main dishes were served. So even if the parking lot seemed full, food prep time to me seemed very quick. I think from ordering to serving, it was probably 15-20 mins? Overall, I really liked this experience. Who knows what it will be like a year from now? But if you're needing a place to try that is pretty much a fusion of different cultures, give El Greco a try. Take care!

First timer. Food was DELICIOUS! We had roast leg of lamb special, San Fran burger. Ended with tapioca pudding and plain cheesecake. Lamb was very tender and flavorful. Hamburger cooked perfectly and juicy. Baked potato just right. Homemade tapioca and cheesecake tasted great. Would recommend!

The food was average and earned both of the stars. The price was too high for the quality of food. The service however was the worst. The server was rude and unhelpful. She acted like the customers were idiots. The staff argued in front of the customers, overall negative environment. If you have a big family don’t go to this “family restaurant” because they are not accepting parties over six.

I honestly do not know why El Greco would receive anything less than 5 stars! I have been coming here for the better part of 25 years and it is always reliable for a filling meal. My wife and I came here over a year ago, as I talked it up. However, this recent trip was for breakfast and did not disappoint. She got the bacon eggs benedict and I got the meat lovers skillet. She then got a sticky bun and a bearclaw to go. The eggs benedict were a massive portion and the sauce was almost too thick and rich, but she made do! The meat lovers skillet was amazing as it was SO full of sausage, ham, and bacon! If you like meat, this is the one for you! The sticky bun and almond horn were nice and sweet, making for a good aperitif. The dessert case is so full of goodness that we wanted a bit of everything. Too bad we had other plans for today and it would have gone bad. When in Milwaukee, make sure you stop by and get some heaping portions and great dessert!

Nice casual diner on the north side of Milwaukee variety of good food. I love coming here and getting the chicken breast skillet one of my favorites very delicious, nice size portions and very very tasty! And if you get there early enough on Saturdays you get the awesome in house coffee cake
