The owner and all the staff are freaking amazing. Every experience I’ve ever had here has been without a doubt amazing, everyone is so kind and makes you feel welcomed. Never had a single bad plate here, always super filling and made with care. Not to mention the drinks are delicious 🥳

First time being there and the food was wonderful. Chalupa wasn't very good according to my husband but besides that the customer service was wonderful and welcoming. Warm feel and my watermelon margaritas was so good. Thank you 😊

We eat here at least once a month, we tried the fish tacos for the first time and liked them so much that we went back and had them again the next night. Kept our drinks refilled and checked on us a few times to make sure we had what we needed and liked the meal. Love coming here.

Great food & great prices. I have visited every Mexican restaurant in Coos County and keep coming back to El Coyote. Their chef knows spices and even the simplest dish is elevated by their technique. The price to quantity ratio is hard to beat as well, making El Coyote the best restaurant choice all-around.

The food was horrible: watery salsa without much substance except for lots of large wilted pieces of cilantro. The veggies for the fajitas with sliced, almost shredded, seemed to be boiled rather than grilled, mushy without flavor, left a nasty feeling in your mouth. The guacamole for the fajitas was a large pitt sized chunk of browned avacado. The decor is drab an dark. The service well when I mentioned my thoughts on the food it was picked up and taken away. They came back with the bill without even asking if they could bring something else, or offer a discount, they could clearly see the meal had barely been touched. We are local and have been trying other mexican restarants to see if one comes close to our favorite. This place doesn't even come close. I have no idea how this place has as many stars as it does? Try Puerta Vallarta Restaraunt in Coos Bay for a delightful dinner all the way around.

Great service and atmosphere. Food rates 8/10, usually pretty fresh and well prepared/presented.

This restaurant is a wonderful new addition to the area. It has ample seating and space in a time where distance is necessary. The staff are friendly and eager to give you a positive experience. We ordered two of their burritos and we both impressed with the taste and the quality. Definitely don’t skip out on the margaritas, they are huge and come in a large variety of flavors. I’ll be returning here often and highly recommend it to anyone reading this.
