El Capitan Motor Inn - Motel in Long Beach - 446 W Pacific Coast Hwy, USA

Cheap prices, but, you get what you pay for. It's not dirty. No bugs. It has a nice pool. But it's not exactly updated though... It's an old skool weekly/monthly mo-mo. So anyone who's ever lived in one understands this places charm. LOL. It's is a good value though and the managers are great¡!¡! They're super sweet and super helpful. About $75/nightly About $400 weekly

It's been awhile since I staryed there. Years ago I was a guest and I was not at all familiar with the area nor had I ever heard of this particular motel. We were in a jam, we needed to be near work location and it was on short notice.. So we basically picked the first thing that we came across.. We needed to stay a week. So we came in and spoke to the then managers, a really nice couple who ran the place.. They were extremely friendly and professional. They actually gave us the best room they had, which was ok. The bathroom was super clean, bath tub looked like it was brand new and the room was also super clean, big, with an AC that kept the room nice and cold like I have to have it.. I was really pleased overall. It seemed as if the couple kept things really up to par, they defiantly didn't allow any BS, there wasn't any scenes or ppl who just hung around.. They kept things quiet and safe in my opinion. AGAIN THIS HAS BEEN A FEW YEARA. But now it's under new management which has not been a positive move. From what I see when traveling to work is frankly very disturbing.. It's sadly taken a HUGE HUGE dive. I tend to pass the location often and it doesn't seem safe at all. Rather scary actually. They have really let the place go down hill and it wasn't really a place that was all that good to begin with. Just imagine.. If I had to chose I'd actually never ever stay there again, I would not if even if the old managers were still there. Even though the old management were awesome ppl. The location, the quality of the rooms and the entire situation is beyond low quality . The place looks like it needs to be totally condemned, its a complete disaster,.. Plus they have a major cockroach infestation. Nasty from A to Z..

Really steep stairs to get upstairs to our room. Got into the room and the smell was||just horrible! TV didn't work, so they replace that, but couldn't do anything about the||smell unless we wanted to pay more to stay downstairs! Carpet was filthy, bed was||hard. Just not a good place to stay.

TRUTH...nothing but the truth so help me God.... ..its been the most horrifying, disgusting ...did I mention filfty? In 1 day more cockroaches crawling on the walls then I've seen in my lifetime..(And I'm a old lady) hotel I have ever experienced!!!! ....and . on my resume? 25 years "National Sales Manager" (based out of Hawaii...stayed at a hell of a lot of hotels/motels/suites.. ...and let's not forget the"charming" manager that frequently uses the "f: word before she calls me a "moreon" or 'white hoe" for asking for toilet paper??? ...my rating on this hotel?....stars r from above... ....what symbols rating from below???? ☆..🖕my "middle"finger to (dana)top management of El Capitan Motor Inn.. Yeah you Dana number 1....

It's a bit run down ,but for the price, what do you expect? Have a friend who's been staying there for a few months now and he likes it.

In a sketchy part of town. Lots of unfavorable riff Raff and somewhat scary people hanging around. Pretty active at night.

I don't have any words to say. What. I need to say. In all honesty here but here's 5.because.what.ive seen. And really have to say. Ill just shut up now while I'm ahead
