Bacon breakfast burrito was just ok, probably wouldn’t get it again. I also had eggs and chorizo and that was decent.
Cute hole in the wall cafe. I'm glad we got here early, but as you know, early bird gets the worm. We got here at 9:30 am on a Sunday. A lot of the reviews I read about this place is that they don't have pricing listed anywhere, soooo I was able to snap a pic of their menu with pricing. 😁
I don't think pricing is unreasonable, good portions and really tasty. I ordered the Dirty horchata ( homemade horchata with a shot of espresso) soooooo good. They are known for their chilaquiles but lately I've had a lot of so I opted for their huevo con chorizo ( I just asked for the chorizo to be well done) I usually have to add salt because most places miss the "sazon" but I didn't need to do so here. Unfortunately I didn't snap a pic of my food because I immediately dug into it haha but trust me, it was delicious.
My only feedback...while the staff is extremely nice and polite , I would recommend that this place should at least provide a 75 min or 90min dine in time. Put up a sign or something (A lot of places do so and it's okay) My friend and I are both 8 months pregnant and we were only there for like an hour before they asked us to leave so they could seat other people. We were still finishing up our drinks when they asked us to leave, politely, but still we were kicked out. Haha.
We purposely got there early to enjoy our breakfast and time together, so it kind of hit a nerve to be asked to leave so quickly to seat others that decided to get there at a busier time...🤷🏻♀️
Besides that minor hiccup, I will be going back to try some more food and get my Dirty horchata fix 😉.
I'll be blunt I have no idea how much I paid for everything. All I know is that a 2 taco platter, Chilequiles, and chips and guac came out to $50. Prices aren't posted anywhere. But damn that food is good which is why I gave it five stars.
I triple-dare anyone to find a more expensive Breakfast Burrito in the whole of Southern California. If it was amazing I'd add stars in spite of that, but it's average, and with no prices posted anywhere, I was stunned to get a total of nearly $15 while then asking me for tip. So if you leave 20% expect to pay $18 for a breakfast burrito. Just one. No chips. No drink. Lord knows how much everything else is, but you know the saying, if you gotta ask... you can't afford it.
El Camino Cafe is a cute restaurant with a nice staff. My wife and I went for breakfast. I had the Chilaquiles with red sauce and it was really good. I didn't know what to expect but I really enjoyed it. The outside patio is nice.
What bothered me was that the menu outside the building and the menu inside had no prices. No idea of what you are getting into. We asked about this and the person at the counter said we could ask her and she would look them up on the register. I think this will make people uncomfortable. Just a bit unorthodox.
Local cafe with friendly service, enjoyable ambience, good food, and flavorful coffee. The breakfast burrito is well-seasoned and not too salty. Accompanying side of salsa is a good compliment. Great atmosphere and convenient parking.
El Camino Cafe, located in the quaint city of Tustin, California has long delivered an authentic, comforting and heavenly Mexican breakfast experience.
I have been going to this cafe for over 3 years now, and even while living in LA I choose to make the drive for their tasty chilaquiles verdes & dirty horchata (with cafe de olla).
My experience with the owners & all workers has been nothing short of delightful and attentive, all the time!
I would strongly suggest taking the time to stop by for breakfast or brunch!
Thank you, El Camino Cafe!
Provecho!
We give 1 star for the mimosa and Michelada and one star for Presentation. The El Camino omelette was not special, the fries were overcooked and the potato taquitos were extremely burnt with no flavor and the rice was not quite done. Not worth wait in line and the pressure to know what we are going to order once you were allowed to walk in to order, the $50.00 we spent could of been better spent at a more authentic Mexican food establishment.
An incredible restaurant!!! The best Mayan/Yucatán cuisine Iâve had that never ceases to amaze me. So incredibly fresh with thoughtful ingredients. My FAVORITE grilled octopus on earth - to die for!! Empanadas are delicious as well. Great cocktail
This is my new favorite spot! Everything is fresh and made to order. The wait time is a little longer than expected, but again... It's made fresh. Efficient customer service. Fairly priced... They also offer protein shakes. And quick sandwhiches.
This place totally makes authentic Mexican tacos. The photos donât do it justice. The two tacos are carne asada and their queso tacos. The single taco is al pastor queso taco. With pineapple shavings on top that made it so much better. I want to sa
Wow is the only way I can describe the food. Great tasting authentic Mexican food. The place is a little hard to find. Friendly staff. A little old decor but who cares if the food is this good. I'll be back. Highly recommended.

Great service! We were throwing a 60s party and wanted to serve Pabst Blue Ribbon and Hamms Beers. Called ahead and they not only confirmed they sold these hard-to-find brews, but remembered my call when I arrived the next day to pick up. Great se
