Food was GREAT!!! I had the Pastor tacos, and my wife had the Verde tacos and sopapilla.
Traveling home from Branson and googled food in Vinita. This popped up. It looks as if you are pulling into a car dealership, but SURPRISE! Great little Mexican restaurant. Fresh chips and salsa. Food was fresh, great tasting and real- “nothing heat and serve”. Very pleasant server, efficient but not over bearing. Definitely worth the stop.
They have the best salsa and fresh chips. The chorizo queso is delicious as well. The beef enchiladas are so good as well as the taco salads. The staff is always so friendly with great table service. Great place to have a quick bite or a family dinner. Lots of food options at great prices.
Staff was absolutely the best part of visit. Unfortunately my husband's chicken enchilada was very dry and bland. My pork pineapple tacos were not well done at all. One tiny piece of pineapple on each taco. So I diced it up more to spread it out. Way to much raw onion. That is all I could taste! Such a shame because the servers and hard workers were awesome!
This place completely caught me off guard. It's not much to look at from the outside, it located in Vinita, OK. Off the main road next to a car dealership. And it was Amazing!!! Simply put, it was the best Salsa, made in house daily, I have ever had. The Guacamole, made in house, was the best I have ever had. It was a lil too smooth in texture, for me. But the taste over rides that, fantastic. I ordered the Cancun... A Large Stoneware Bowl full over Steak, Chicken, and Shrimp with peppers, onions, well seasoned served with tortillas, rice, beans, and guacamole salad. My wife had chicken and spinach enchiladas, and my daughter had the beef enchiladas. Every bite was top notch. Bravo!!!
Delicious food, friendly & accurate service. My family has dined here since 2001, never disappointed. El Cabrito, "The Goat" must stand for the greatest of all time in Spanish for Vinita Mexican food. 😋
