The bartender is amazing, he is such a gem! I can't wait to come back for future visits 😊 he made us feel so at home and kindly shared some memories with us about a band we both like- made for a wonderful dining experience! Food was delish, I look forward to trying the rest of the menu
This is kind of like a flea market in Canada but bigger with more sea food. It does not have many clothing kind of items other than some bags and t shirts with the name on it. But there are many places to eat, to buy souvenirs and there is a brewery as well. It closes at 5 pm and I thought it is too early though. Great facilities at the facility, could be busy but not overwhelming. Enjoyed our visit there.
Food was amazing, super tasty fresh and fast to the table. Prices were reasonable (13-16 per meal). Order via QR code through an app which was very glitchy and impersonal. We had to put our order in 5 times for it to work and honestly almost left because we were so frustrated. Patio is nice, you have to be over 21 to sit and there’s a lot of foot traffic. Overall would recommend because the food was so tasty but not a typical dining experience!
This place is right by pike place market so if you’re looking for good vegan food it’s definitely work checking it out. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit out on the patio since it was a nice day. The bartender gave us the rundown when we arrived. You place your order at the table using a QR code and they bring the food out to you. If you want any drinks at the bar you just order them at the bar and they will bring them out to you. There is also self serve water if you just want water to drink. My BF and I ordered the nachos to share and a taco each(seitan barbacoa and chipotle potato) and it was the perfect amount of food for us. We also tried two of their margaritas(Hibiscus one and the pineapple habanero one). Both margaritas were so tasty and if you are worried about the pineapple habanero ones being too spicy, it had the perfect amount of heat to it. They have a mini fridge inside that has self serve salsas. We tried 3 of the salsas(red, green, and chipotle) all were very flavorful. We were checked on a bunch throughout our visit and the service was fantastic. I would definitely return again.
The price can’t be beat. The location is great. Small inside but they also have a patio. The slushy machine for frozen margarita as broken, unfortunately. You order via an app which was annoying. Honestly I was pretty disappointed by the food, until I found out it was vegan; then I was like okay wow for vegan Mexican it was actually very good. So, if you want vegan Mexican definitely try this place. But personally, as somebody who thinks cheese is the best part of Mexican food, I probably won’t be back.
First of all, for my one and only day in Seattle on this trip, the weather couldn't be more perfect (see attached photos of Space Needle and the weather here this afternoon, as I sip on my Arnold Palmer - also pictured, along with the Nachos - yum! 😋) Honestly, at first I was a little turned off when I first walked in, and no one on staff acknowledged my presence for a few minutes and I did consider leaving, but something told me to give this place a chance. So, I walked over to the bartender and asked him who I had to talk to, to get seated outdoors, and he said, "Me." Not sure if he had seen me when I initially walked in, but if management reads this, you may want to train your staff to improve on their customer service skills, especially where first impressions are concerned. Reading some of the other reviews on this place, I think a couple of other customers were turned off by the service (or lack thereof) as well. In terms of how one places their order, it's all very tech/smartphone oriented. Once you're seated at your table, you're asked to scan the QR code there and place your order. Pretty simple process overall, even when I encountered a slight glitch but persevered on, even customizing my nachos to not include jalapeños, which give me the hiccups (don't ask) while noting that it asks if you want to tip your waitperson as you place the order, and decide how much in advance....excuse me, but how am I supposed to decide how much of a tip to leave when I haven't had an opportunity to gauge the quality of the service throughout, first impressions notwithstanding? I almost begrudgingly opted to do the standard 20% in advance and hoped for the best. Being that my total bill still came to under $25.00, I reasoned that it wouldn't be a huge loss had I been disappointed, and I'm happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my order was brought out - first the Arnold Palmer brought out by the bartender himself, and almost immediately thereafter my nachos were brought out by another staff person. I will say this: the nachos were satisfying and flavorful, despite the vegan melted cheese and vegan sour cream having a slightly watery texture. But overall, I was happy, satisfied, and ready to resume my walk in Downtown Seattle for the remainder of the afternoon and into the evening. Pros: Quick service once order was placed, Food fresh Cons: Unwelcoming vibe initially
The food was good and the bartender was quite nice. But the place could use some cleaning. The tables were so gross and sticky. How you order and get food is unclear. As a celiac I wouldn't trust their mutual fridge of sauces. The food was good and I didn't get glutened so that was nice. I wasn't sure though cause the whole restaurant and service seems a little sketch.
If you are vegan/vegetarian and visiting pike place market, then definitely do yourself a favor and stop by El Borracho! The service is great and orders are ready in 5 minutes or less 🙂 I really enjoyed the barbacoa taco with green rice and black beans on the side. I also ordered the the Al pastor taco but wasn’t a huge fan because the sauce lacked flavor. The next time that I visit, I look forward to trying other tacos on the menu 🌮

Super tasty and wholesome vegan food. They were out of a lot of ingredients, but they were still able to make me this awesome veggie bowl (very generous portion size!) with broccoli cheese soup.
