El Bandido - Beckley - Mexican restaurant in Beckley - 1914 Harper Rd, USA

It's just another Mexican restaurant... I am always a little critical of Mexican restaurants because there is a tendency to be like so many other Mexican restaurants. This is just another mediocre Mexican restaurant. The interior was nice, but what you would expect. The service was really bad. The food was good - I had the cheese steak burrito. Overall, I was not impressed at all. I would expect them to have some sort of wow factor - if there were more competition in town, they would not be a choice.

This West Virginia gem stands out as one of the finest Mexican restaurants I've ever encountered. The service, thanks to Luis and Ruben, was truly exceptional. We stumbled upon this highway-side eatery on our way back to Pittsburgh, and what a find it was! Their tacos are among the best, and I've never savored chicken fajitas quite like theirs. The staff goes above and beyond, and their warm, friendly demeanor adds to the delightful experience. This will undoubtedly become our go-to spot whenever we're in the area. I only wish I had a restaurant like this in my hometown. Highly recommended for top-notch service and mouthwatering Mexican cuisine!

Timely and efficient service, I appreciated that greatly, especially in this day and age. My favorite part is definitely the chips and salsa. If searching for authentic Mexican food this isn't the place. With that being said, this is West Virginia so what can you do? Locally, this is probably some of the best you're going to get though. I would come back just for chips and salsa.

Delicious authentic Mexican food! Very generous portion sizes and fast and considerate service make this place something to keep coming back to. I was struggling to choose what to eat because everything on the huge menu looked awesome. Definitely coming back here.

Great Food, Excellent quality and service. We were greeted and seated immediately. Loved the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and crunchy. Food was out quickly. Chicken Fajitas was really good and I loved the flavors. Huge portion size and everything is reasonably priced. I loved the rice, beans and guacamole. Apart from Fajitas we also tried Pollo a la Mexicana which was pretty good too. I would definitely recommend dining here if you love Mexican food. IG: journey_man16

Drink's were great! Had street tacos. Definitely Venezuelan, not Mexican. The tacos were a little salty. Service was amazing! Great experience!

Really HUGE portions and really friendly waitstaff. Great value and good food. The beef quesadilla and fajitas were SO good. Refried beans and rice were also very good. The only thing that wasn't the best was the beef burrito. Clean bathrooms and overall great authentic Mexican food. Was recommended here by a friend and had a good time here.

Not very familiar with West Virginia restaurants and prices, but El Bandido , has above average food for a great price. Chicken wings for .55 cents (try the mango habanero sauce). Beer prices best I've seen in years. I had tacos de carnitas very good, but the salsa rojo was amazing.. smoky and hot. Quick service
