EJ's - American restaurant in White House - 532 Raymond Hirsch Pkwy, USA

EJ’s is a great local spot in White House and a friend let me know they host a free poker night on Tuesday’s to go along with Buy one get one beer and a full menu. I had the Baja brisket nachos and really enjoyed the cottontown brown beer on draft. Cheyenne is a great bartender who is very friendly and quick to smile at everyone. The poker tournament was a lot of fun and I look forward to returning in the future. My only complaint is that none of the food items had prices next to them.

There is nothing we don't love to eat at EJ's! Jalapeño Cheddar burger with sweet potato fries and cinnamon butter is by far my absofavo! Chicken tender plate is huge and even my teenage boy doesn't finish it (yay for leftovers!). Breakfasts are ginormous and delish. Champagne flight is a must. Service is pretty solid and they get really busy, so have some patience. Music in bar is nice but can overpower, so sometimes we choose to sit in the main room so we can converse with each other. They have lots of theme nights to draw people in, so go take advantage of it!

I loved this little place. I spent 8 months in White House and wish I would have tried them sooner! Wait staff was amazing and food was just as amazing!

Nice home town atmosphere. Service was slow and not what I was expecting at all. We ordered and got drinks then waited 15-20 minutes for food to come to the table. I ordered fish tacos based on the picture it looked great but received something was different than the picture and description. The fish was seasoned with lemon pepper seasoning as well which was not expected. It look like they cooked one piece of fish and cut it up and flaked it on top of three different tacos. The fish was barely lukewarm to the touch and when I asked the waitress who brought the food to the table she said she wasn't sure she was new and was going to ask. 3-6 minutes later she came back to the table and said the fish is cold because they put other cold items with the fish on the taco. Then she said she would get someone else for us 10 minutes later our waitress finally came back to the table and her response was I'll take it off and I'll get your check for you right away and didn't even ask if I wanted anything else. We never received any refills for our drinks at all... So when we asked refills she said do you want that to go cup and just pretty much just rushed us out the door. I left very disappointed ☹️. The other person in my party ordered the turkey club sandwich that he said was very good and sweet potato fries that came with a sauce that was very tasty. We also got chicken tenders with macaroni and cheese for my child and he enjoyed it.

Will definitely try again, great service, nice place, but 2 of 5 breakfast meals the eggs were overdone. Poached eggs were hard and omelet outer edge "crispy," other 3 meals were great.

My first experience with EJs was a takeout order of 4 Tender Basket and Chicken Alfredo. We got 2 meals from each one and both were delicious! The staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. Their dining area seems to be sufficient for the area. They advertise live music, but I'm not sure where the musicians would setup. I'd recommend this place. I'm sure I'll be returning!

Very cute little hole in the wall, however, I’ve never had my order so mixed up after coming out. Ordered a salad with chicken, asked for fried chicken, came out with grilled. No cheese was on my salad. Salad was kind of like warm. Girlfriend got the club, asked for mayo on the side, mayo came out on the sandwich and no tomato. I don’t know what’s going on back in the kitchen but they need to keep a menu or something handy like that back there to make sure everything is coming out right. Food was okay.

I gave them a low rating because we waited an hour to be seated with 9 tables open, then waited another 45 minutes after we ordered our food. The food came our room temp at best. The Eggs Benedict tasted great but we like ours hot. The lemon blueberry Mimosa is to die for!!! That might get me to go back. Part of the problem was our waitress, Heather, fault. She totally forgot about us until I told her to forget our order & give me our ticket. Then magically our food came out. They always seem to be short on help. The place could use an update & cleaning.
