Einstein Bros. Bagels - Bagel shop in West Lafayette - 201 & 203 Northwestern Ave, USA

The vibe is very dismal and gray in this place because the dining room is closed, so the place is mostly empty space with tattered printed paper signs stating something to the effect of "to go only dining room closed," except on the most important place to post one which is the entrance to the building. The person in front of me in line asked why that is, and the employee said that all EBB's do not have dining rooms open and are changing their model. The employee sounded tired of explaining this to customers. I was looking forward to sitting down and eating inside the business. The outside of the business is inviting, but the inside feels like March 2020. The sandwich was decent but very overpriced (see minimal contents in photo). I did ask for no egg but was still charged for the egg sandwich. Perhaps there are no other options in the software to make it cheaper, which is understandable but was not conveyed to me. All in all, I unfortunately don’t feel like I will be returning.

Great place to eat! They have a wide selection and very good with dietary restrictions. Near campus and great atmosphere as well.

bagel was missing top part of bun. i had to hold it by the cheese to eat it. how do you forget to give me the top part of the bagel? if it wasn’t such a hassle i’d get my money back.

Great downtown breakfast joint. It's hard to go wrong with anything they offer. I tried several of their sandwiches and the coffee. The sandwiches were made as-pictured (not the mushed soggy mess of fast food) and the coffee is hot and bold. They carry a few varieties of Caribou Coffee, which is as good as or better than Starbucks. Prices are generally high, but you'll get that with the good location and the higher quality food (you won't find them waffle tacos here). Coffee prices are on par with Starbucks. I guess that's just the going rate for bean water here.

Awesome Einsteins. Very nice clean facility is a testament to the management happening here. Helpful, friendly staff. Large eating area. Great counter display. It was a good experience. I ordered a new menu item..like a chicken and egg bagel deal. But they had to nix the cream cheese. Staff then suggested the roasted pepper spread which was a great choice. When it came time to pay, a change in bagel was recommended since it also had cheese. I agreed! I would have been upset if I carried out and found a cheesy bagel after avoiding all the cheese. Overall, great customer serive and food!

Ordered online without any difficulties. Ordered the Garden Avocado Everything Bagel. It was delicious. Will definitely order from there again.

I have tasted Einstein Bros Bagels few times at other places and they have been really good. But this experience at West Lafayette store wasn’t upto the mark I felt. The Everything bagel wasn’t soft as I have had before and the spread was little less I thought. The store is large and has good crowd on Weekends, so I’m sure they are pretty good and I will definitely visit again and change my review if I get better service next time.

I like this place and the variety of freshly baked bagels and the shmear they got! We went there around 10:30 AM and the service was pretty quick and only takeout was available.
