Egret Point by Spinnaker Resorts - Resort hotel in Hilton Head Island - 35 Valencia Rd, USA

My family has been vacationing at this resort for over 23 years, and we love it. 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms condo is great for a family of 6 The units are very well maintained. The pool is very close to the condo as well as the beach, restaurants, and shopping. It's always a great time at Egret point. With the golf course out your door, you may enjoy your time on the greens. You can ride the bicycle to anything in the area. With great memories to be made here at egret point come and enjoy all of the amenities.

All things were above expectations. The facilities and the bikes and the convenience of the appliance and furniture were good. The cleanliness were as desired. The facilities were great and the grounds and pools were kept real well.

Although we are Spinnaker owners, we booked this property through RCI and, prior reviews are correct, this is maybe a Bronze resort. The check-in process was quick and easy, even though we arrived a day late and close to midnight. However, the actual unit was lacking. Several electrical wall outlets had no power, the bed in the master room was uncomfortable and noisy; the shower in the main area had no hot water; the shower in the master bath had to be manipulated to avoid water spewing from the shower head. The main living area was fine but the bedrooms and bathrooms could use some maintenance/updating. Probably would not return to this resort.

Over priced for how old the properties are. The condo kitchen had all the basics you'd need to prepare simple meals. Upon arrival, we noticed the shower head wasn't functioning properly and water was dripping from an overhead light in the shower. Maintenance came quickly and resolved the issue. Probably won't be back.

Last week we checked into this time share for rest, relaxation and to enjoy HHI. The staff are very friendly and efficient in their service. The resort is quiet and the views are beautiful of the pond and wildlife on site.||We did not use any of the amenities like the fitness centre.||The space itself in the rooms is awesome. The bathrooms are generous, spacious bathtubs, convenient on-site laundry and a well-stocked kitchen.||We arrived quite late at night. We checked in and noticed a mouldy, musty smell in our room but we were too tired to complain. By the second night, we were hardly breathing and could barely sleep due to the intense mould/damp carpet issues. We were both healthy and well when we checked in and didn't have sleep/breathing/sinus congestion issues. We brought our concerns forward to the staff and they sent maintenance to verify the concern. In the meantime, we were offered another room, which we greatly appreciated. We then had to move everything to another room in the middle of our stay. Apparently, the carpeting had been cleaned recently in our initial room and it's possible that the carpet was not fully dried before letting guests back in and stay.||The subsequent room was an improvement but it still didn't solve the mould/musty smell stink issue. In fact, the "Febreeze" room spray that was sprayed throughout the room by the staff prior to our entering the room only masked the mould smell. Ozonators were placed in our rooms to address our concerns because we didn't want to move 3 times during a 1-week stay. ||The on site manager was very pleasant, offered to help us move to another room, and we insisted on staying and simply preferred having the ozonators clear the air while we left in the early evenings to explore the island. We did that for our final 2 nights in the room.||We are still recovering from the experience. It was a nightmare. We couldn't sleep for days, are still congested, and feel ill. This is the exact opposite of what a vacation needs to be.||DO NOT STAY HERE. The building maintenance and owners need to address the problem with the dampness, carpeting, mould, mildew, rotting subfloor, etc. before letting anyone stay there for any period of time.

Great accommodations with a really nice pool. The parking here doesn't allow for all their guest and you'll end up hauling your suitcase a long way to your unit.

Haven't stayed in the rooms here (stayed at the cottages). The pool is very nice and heated. Great activities building and gym as well.

Horrible check-in!! Confirmation emails said you could check in at 4pm. When we arrived at 3:50pm they told us that housekeeping hadn't finished cleaning the unit and we had to wait, but they'd call us. We sat in the parking lot for 1 hour & 15 mins & decided to go back in since we never got a call and they finally gave us our keys, But no apology for the wait. I talked to a housekeeping supervisor the day we left and told him what we were told was the delay and he told us they never are late cleaning the units! So why are the check in people lying? And we are owners for over 20+ years!!!
