I had some showings in the area. Decided to stop by for lunch with the kids. Walked in no wait. I was lucky. Got seated, the boys got hot chocolate and it came very quick and they say it tastes good.
We ordered burgers, and 2 kids meal. All were awesome. Definitely better than wait over an hour at some of the breakfast places in the city.
Service was also excellent. Our server were welcoming and polite. Food came very quickly, hot and fresh! Thank you for making my day a easy day!
My mother ordered the french toast with cinnamon apples (first photo). The presentation on the plate was beautiful and she really enjoyed it. Such a large amount, she had to take the rest home. My avocado sandwich (2nd photo) was also very good. Update 12-16-23 They did even better. See new photos. My mothers 96 Birthday breakfast. Great bunch of people.Love the place.
This was our first visit to the Egg House, and we'll definitely be back. The service was great and the food excellent. For us, the food portion sizes are too large, but the food is really good. I had the French toast with blueberries and my wife had the omelet with hash brown potatoes.
I really appreciate them having there own parking lot. Everyone was welcoming and friendly as so as we walked in. The food was delish from the moment I read it on the menu! My daughters loved the food. Our waitress Heather was attentive, quick and helpful.
November 19, 2023 - This was our third visit to the Egg House in Lombard. It did not disappoint. Each visit has been 5 star.
This visit my wife and I took one of our grandsons. It was mid Sunday morning and the place was hopping. We were immediately shown to a table, given menus and provided hot coffee. Our server quickly took our orders: pancakes, waffles, bacon and a skillet. We were served in a matter of minutes and it was fresh, flavorful and hot. Do not miss this Egg House in Lombard. You will be pleased.
Cute bustling brunch spot in downtown Lombard. Heather was great as our server. It was packed on a Sunday morning which is a good sign but they were able to take my party of 4 in 15-20 mins. We tried the crispy Nutella French toast, tiramisu pancakes, and fresh OJ and they were all great! I also had a French vanilla latte - machine made but still very good.
This was our first visit to the egg house, and we will definitely be back! The service was great and heather was amazing! the food was delicious as well!
Service is friendly and professional as soon as you walk in. This was our first time here and we couldn't believe how lovely the atmosphere was. Even as it got busy, the music wasn't too loud, there was so much natural light, and they were well staffed. Our server Heather took great care of us, helping us quickly, explaining the menu, and making it a great experience. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful park. Lots of parking. Clean and tidy. Great for a walk. Nice calm neighborhood. Pond has quite a few fishes in it. Caught a few bluegill and Catfishes. Ample benches. Good for picnic and Taking the kids. Definitely recommended to stop.
