It's been a year since our stay at one of the most difficult times in our life. We needed to escape and heal in God's Country... we caught our first Northern Pike ! The swing was perfect for me and my husband enjoyed off shore fishing. I was up there again , but didn't stay there because communication was hard when we stayed and I don't know why it all started when I requested towels, had I known towels was a hot point we would have never asked . . That's the only down was we would love to visit but poor communication breeds stress.
Bring extra towels and enjoy this wonderful spot!!! Deer Eagles fish just Beautiful!!!!!!
So Wonderful, owners are kind hearted grounds kept nice.
I cleaned the whole cabin top to bottom first day so my cabin was wonderful for about 2 weeks if I remember correctly...
I have 2 beagles and it was wonderful to have my fur babies with me during this getaway.... The River is Amazing... We made new friends from Wisconsin we still communicate with to this day..
We recommend highly and drive by often to just look and remember
Absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I had a great time together with our dog, It was nice and relaxing. Service was absolutely fantastic the office guy was really nice and helpful he answered all the questions we had and everything. We definitely plan on coming back here again.
I stayed at the largest of the cabins with a family group of 9 4 adults 3 kids and two infants as well as 3 dogs. I loved the views and the flexibility of the space. The beds were comfortable enough to get you by. The rustic look and feel of the cabins is amazing. The quiet corner of Iron mountain all to yourself sets your expectation for a great, up north vacation.
My family greatly enjoyed the kayaks, and fishing on the river. We also had enough space in the kitchen for someone to be cooking and everyone else to be sitting and talking. The small oven and fridge that made up the kitchen was perfect for a family of mostly young children looking for hotdogs and Mac and cheese anyway.
The play area was perfect for my kids, and the additional members of our group who stayed in a smaller cabin also were able to meet us there to engage with the kids.
I enjoyed staying here and would love to come back again. The location is so scenic and picturesque I'll forever suggest it for our small future family reunion trips.
We really loved our stay in cabin 5. The river is lovely, and we enjoyed sitting on the swing watching nature. The cabins have an interesting history, and ours was very clean with thoughtful amenities. We were only able to stay two nights, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Iron Mountain is a relaxing area full of friendly people, and we can’t wait to come back!
Was an amazing stay! Close to home and get the cabin was super easy. Everything was done over the phone so no office visit! The cabin was cozy and inviting, the view of the river was amazing and we plan on staying there as much as possible!!
Clean cabins, everything you need and beautiful view. Simple, easy check in and check out. No issues, so I never needed to contact main office. It was wonderful to be automatically texted when our cabin was ready for an early check-in option.
We recently made our first visit to Edgewater. My comments will be specific to unit 8, which is where we stayed. My wife and I had a wonderful and relaxing time. The setting...with the river just steps out the back door...is very hard to beat. And the owners were attentive and responsive to our questions and needs. Yes, the overall unit is on the small side, but as a retired couple traveling by ourselves it was all that we needed (or wanted). I didn't imagine that AC would come in handy, so far north, but it was 90 the day we checked in, and boy was that feature ever welcome. Also, my wife is sensitive to light when sleeping at night, and she pointed out that the bedrooms in our unit had room-darkening curtains, which was a touch she greatly appreciated! Reasonably priced, great location (handy to Iron Mountain amenities), and quiet and peaceful. We will be coming back.
My wife and I spent three nights here in Cabin #1. I joked about this being a working vacation, since my wife was here for work, and I came along for vacation. We opted out of the corporate motel that her company usually books for travelers to Iron Mountain and convinced them to pay for a cabin here. That allowed us to bring our dog with, without dealing with the challenges of a pet in a motel. We found that our cabin fit our needs quite well. The kitchen had everything that we needed, though we did most of our cooking on the charcoal grill outside our cabin. The open area next to our cabin gave us plenty of space for the dog, and she enjoyed splashing in the wading pool as well. With the high temperatures while we were there, the air conditioning was quite welcome. The beds were comfortable enough and everything was clean. The only negative was the bathroom being so small, but that was a minor thing.

I ordered a 4 topping thin crust pizza online for carryout. I asked for it a little well done. The pizza was massive and had no shortage of cheese or toppings. It was immaculate. Perfectly cooked to crunchy perfection. The owner was also really cool

This is like the A&W's of long ago. It's always busy and with good reason. Great food at great prices and the A&W is made fresh daily. My grandson couldn't believe how different it was than what he has had his entire life. If you are close to this pl
Beautiful course!! So glad I got a chance to play here again but not my best game. The tee boxes are like walking on carpet...what a switch from public courses! I believe they're open to the public on Mondays now. It was $72 per person.
Their bakery is always awesome and Pam is the sweetest employee! Make sure you check out the "day old" section to get a deal in the morning. My go to are the muffins and cookies.
Stopped in here for a Friday cod fish fry and it did not disappoint. I am up here at a buddy's camp helping get ready for deer season and he mentioned this place as there are not a ton of options in Crystal Falls.
Food was very good and it was a hea
