The food here was pretty amazing and priced fairly. I really enjoyed the lunch I ate earlier this week, but the service was where it fell flat.
Once I was seated it took 5-10 minutes to get a drink. Then when I ordered lunch the waiter seemed annoyed I didn’t want to add dessert or coffee (with my initial meal order rather than asking after I ate)
Once the food was left, no one checked on me during the meal. I wasn’t offered a refill of my drink. It was like I was invisible to the staff. Once I cleared my plate, I waited patiently playing a game on my phone for a good 10 minutes before the check was brought to me.
Despite that. I would definitely return. The food made it worth a second visit.
Truly amazing restaurant. We had the appetizer sampler, lamb liver kabob (pictured), lahmacun (pictured), clay pot kabob (pictured), mixed grill kabob (pictured), kunafeh, and turkish coffee (pictured). Tastes just like the food I had when I lived north of Irbil, particularly the lahmacun and liver kabob. Service was also fantastic.
This was so amazing. Truly authentic Kurdish Turkish cuisine. We ordered a feast for two and it did not disappoint. You get a sample of everything and it just kept coming. We even asked the waitress what others ordered and she explained everything. This is an amazing little gem we will now visit often so we can try everything. I even ended the meal with Turkish coffee, which I think ended well with the baklava.
Woww...Impressive! Excellent customer service and delicious food. We definitely will be back! We got greeted right the way when we entered the restaurant even they were very busy. The table had some water marks and stains from cups and bowls on. The guy that seated us was calling someone to wipe the table immediately. That was impressive! Our server was very friendly and attentive. I think this is a family owned restaurant (I am not sure though), other servers from other tables were checking on us as well. Normally, your server only serves you until the end. I like it though. I felt very welcoming. FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!! We ordered a lot! I definitely will order Babaghanoush, Adana Kebob, and Kunefe again next time. The restaurant is very clean and well-decorated. There were a lot of big family dining in. It is 100% family and kids friendly.
I forgot my credit card again! Our server was chasing after us in the parking lot to return it :)
Good food! The portions were very large even for the appetizer sampler. My favorite was the Turkish dumplings and the lamb. The salad was not fresh, but otherwise everything was good.
We order 2 appetites, 3 entries, one side, and a dessert. We enjoyed every dish. The meats are high quality and fresh. The food comes out so fast. The service was great, we order a wrong dessert, when it came out, we realize that was not want we wanted, they happy to take back and let us order the one we want. Their price is so reasonable, if we was local, we would be here every week.
My favorite halal restaurant in town! It’s my 5th time eating there and never disappointed! The food is fantastic, love the kunefe and tiramisu, they even gave us hot tea for free this time. The waitresses are always friendly and helpful. You should give it a try!
We really enjoyed our dinner at Edesssa. The server was very friendly and efficient. The food was very good and plentiful. It was our daughter’s birthday and they treated her to a delicious piece of tiramisu. We will definitely try Edessa again when in Nashville.
