Photo is outdated. Rooms are remodeled. Front desk was polite and courtesy. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations and shuttle bus information. Location was great! Room was very clean and daily housekeeper was wonderful! Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!
My friend and I stayed at Edenbrook last week and we loved it. Because of some major issues with our rental car and getting a replacement we did not get the chance to enjoy Acadia at all. Being from overseas we had to stay connected to the wifi and in close proximity of a land phone line to stay in touch with the rental company. The ladies at the front desk were so so nice, understanding and helpful! We couldn't have resolved the issues without them! Thank you very very much dear April and Meghan. The motel itself is ideally located, right next to the park and within walking distance of Bar Harbor. The rooms are big, clean and the beds are comfy. We even saw some deer from our balcony. We would definately choose to stay at the Edenbrook again!
Such a lovely stay! Sara was the girl who checked us in; she was friendly and lovely. So nice to have a pleasant chat at check in! The property is close to town and quiet.||Our room was in building 4, at the top of the hill. Large room with a front and back entrance, each with chairs to sit out and get some air. We had a small view of the water from our room, which was really pretty at sunrise. Clean rooms and grounds and parking specifically for our room. We would return here for sure!
Positive: The room was clean and comfortable. Heating and air conditioning very responsive. Location to walk into Bar Harbor or tale the bus at the door was excellent. Negative: Room ead a little dark. Could have used additional lamp or sealing light.
This motel has clean rooms, and isn’t visually unappealing. But those beds, I can only assume the beds were purchased 100 years ago from a traveling salesman. The salesman pillaged the beds from a Franciscan Monastery where their discomfort was deemed an attractive quality. Over three nights - maybe 8 hours of sleep. The pillowcases, towels, and sheets all had the various stains you’d expect at a Motel like this. Please get new beds.
This was a gem! We booked it last minute and were very happy with it! Rooms are very clean, beds are COMFY and location is wonderful! Woke up for sunrise at Bar Harbor, drove 4min to get there, breakfast after, back in bed by 8am 😆
Stayed 2 nights right after Labor Day. Was one of the cheapest motels in Bar Harbor but was still over $200 a night. This for a motel right out of the 60’s. To be fair it was clean and quiet but still to far to walk to town. There is a free bus you can catch next door as you don’t want to try to park in town. There must be a 100 hotels/motels in Bar Harbor, just be prepared to spend a lot during the season. This motel has the usual 100 channels on the TV but they block out the Fox News channel so you might want to keep that in mind.
We loved this place. It is about 2 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. There are no services here, but restaurants are near. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It is so quiet, and you can actually open windows and get fresh air in the room. We would defiantly come back!
We certainly agree with all the 5 Star reviews that this motel got. Starting with a very friendly and helpful hostess, we had very clean and comfortable rooms. We were able to make breakfast, use leftovers, as there was a microwave and small refrig
What an absolutely stunning motel! The property is well kept and maintained. The pool is always so clear and the perfect temperature for a dip. Every night there is a beautiful fire pit lit in the back for all to enjoy. The rooms are very clean and c
The innkeeper Chris was so warm and intentional and present, making us feel welcome. He also stayed up personally make sure we could get in very late at night, helped us plan around the marathon so we still had a stellar couple days. We stayed in Oct
This is the place to go if you want coffee and a nice breakfast sandwich with chill vibes. I highly recommend the âBlack Pumpkinâ. Their iced coffee black with their pumpkin flavoring is perfect. No creamer necessary. The sausage and egg and che
The good: The location is excellent right on the water. The breakfast is delicious. Thereâs always coffee, teas and bakery good available. Main Street is a block up. The staff is super friendly and engaging. Shout out to Jill for helping us plan a

Believe all the 5 star reviews. Fab spotless room with a bed so big you need never touch your partner ever again. Walking distance to the town so no need to worry about where to park as your car is at the hotel. Very friendly and helpful reception st
What a great Bed & Breakfast! We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor. It was clean, spacious, had a comfortable bed and lots of natural lighting. The en-suite bathroom was also spacious and we enjoyed the new shower with multiple jets. The breakfas
Very homey and comfortable with a great breakfast. Stayed three nights and had a different breakfast each day. They have a hot water machine in the dining room and a comfortable living room to hang out in. Parking was large enough for a large jeep.
Visited in the off season, stunning easy flat walk, while not paved it is for the most part accessible and hazard free. For folks that like to climb on rocks atleast during our visit we where able to climb around on the rocks during lower tide
This was such a beautiful place for an easy hike. We loved that it wasn't crowded and the views at the end were breathtaking! Make sure check the rocky areas in the water for seals!
