Eden Garden Cafe - Mediterranean restaurant in Glendora - 1447 E Rte 66, USA

I was really looking forward to trying Middle Eastern food closer to me. But overall the food was a disappointment with it being overly salty and not mixed properly. Ordered online, and service got my order to me on time. The shaded outdoors area had a surprisingly amount of people enjoying each other’s company and a better atmosphere than I thought. I did see a lot of smoke from one of the table, but not sure what the customer was smoking (maybe vape).

Our company had its annual Christmas party here on December 9th 2023. The service was phenomenal, the food was even better. Fast, attentive, and fun atmosphere. They have a dancer that comes out on Saturday night who entertained all the diners! Great customer service in a very clean environment. I've been to a lot of restaurants and this is one of the best Mediterranean ones I've ever eaten at! You eat outside in a covered environment. They have heaters spread around in case you end up getting cold. This place also allows Hookah smoking which they provide with many different flavors if that's something you're interested in.

We have lived in Glendora for many years and had to try this restaurant as it is always busy on the weekends with cars overflowing their parking lot frequently. The food was mediocre at best and the comments about the food being over salted are quite true. The service and hostess exceeded our expectations (given prior reviews) but our server did not offer us water with our meals and we needed to ask for it. There is an auto gratuity of 18% regardless of party size. The atmosphere was nice and we wish we got to experience the belly dancing they offer on the weekends. Why the poor rating for atmosphere is they allow cigarette smoking in their dining area. We fully understand that this is a hookah lounge and do not mind hookah smoke but cigarettes are an absolute NO for us and disturbing for fellow diners. There were a lot of mosquitoes during our meal so be prepared for that.

We dined at this restaurant a couple months ago. Food was great. Service was very slow. We asked for pita bread three times, it was never brought to our table. Tonight a party was seated after us, and they received their food before us. We had to wait to order our food. We finished our appetizer, and still had not ordered dinner. The rice was brought out, it sat there while we waited for the rest of the order. By the time the plates were brought out, the rice was cold. We had to ask for boxes. The waitress brought out small boxes that not all the food fit in. And had to ask again for more boxes. The food is great, but the service is lousy!!!! The waitress was quick to come to the table when she seen the money on the table. Unfortunately we will never return. And we will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The wait staff could really use some training. Both visits, we had the same complaint. And it was with two different waiters. So no more chances. We will find another restaurant.

Thanks you guys for good service, they meet our expectations, the food was so good and the hookah was amazing. Definitely will not be my first time here, I’ll come back again for sure. Highly recommended

So much food!! We tried everything...and it was delicious!! Great patio! Lots of seating. Fountains and water features make the patio relaxing and calming. We had fruit hookah and it was delicious! They were great at keeping the coals hot. We tried so much...salads, grape leaves, hummus, pita and so many delicious appetizers. We also tried a bunch of kebabs and rice and roasted veggies. Excellent spot!!

I went here for my dad's birthday. This restaurant is quite good. The food is fresh and the staff and atmosphere made our dining experience enjoyable. We'll be back here soon

The food was very good, the hummus was delicious! Service well ...... we had to ask repeatedly for items ordered, one item we never got. The gentleman didn't seem too concerned that we had to ask several times and eventually didn't get an item. 10/13/2024. Ok went back to give this place one more try. Service is still slow. I ordered rice as an extra side with my meal (ordered the rice as I ordered my meal and it was made clear it was with my meal) came out early so by the time the dish came out the rice was cold. Brought out the salad my niece ordered before anyone's dish came. My niece and brother got bit by fleas. One jumped on my plate so they need to spray the area. Won't be back.
