Eddie's Sports Bar - Sports bar in Anchorage - 6300 Old Seward Hwy, USA

About six years ago (specifically, Sept 2017), I was the victim of a humiliating hazing incident at this bar, during which I was robbed. I had only been twice before (1 and 2 years earlier). I went inside to buy one meal and watch one football game. They insisted that I provide a debit card for “a tab”, which I thought was not really necessary, but I did for the first (and only) time ever. Another patron (presumably a regular) conned me into ringing a bell, and they charged $50 worth of other people’s drinks on my tab. I demanded the money back, which was in no uncertain terms stolen. The waitress working that night and her armed body guard then kicked me out and kept the money. Police told me to go to small claims court, and small claims court turned me away because $50 was “not enough money”. When I appealed to the owner, the owner refused to refund. The police claimed that it was a civil matter because there was “insufficient evidence” to claim it was a criminal matter (although I disagree), and all my attempts to reclaim my stolen money failed up until the limitations ran out. Some people would just “get over it” or move on, but I won’t. I am not over this, and I never will be until it is resolved. I will devote the entire rest of my life to getting these bullies shut down for the illegal thieves that they are, unless I am refunded $50 and receive an apology. I will not break any laws to do this, but I will otherwise use any means necessary. I will cost them as much business as I can until I am refunded. I imagine my life expectancy is about 40-50 more years, and that is how long I will take if necessary.

It was a Friday night and it was busy but not so busy that the three bartenders that were there to leave me at my seat for 10 plus minutes and not acknowledge me at all! Ended up going to the Peanut Farm!

Nice big bathroom, superb food, excellent service, lively customer conversation. Sent the girlfriend this pic, she says, "Bring ME one!" Done.

Had never been on taco Tuesday. Very very good food and the service was great. Cheap food and they still respect every customer. Plus, the cook set up the night so well for the server lady, great food.

Eddie's features alot of activities. The staff are very friendly. Good location. Loved country night even though I don't dance. Music was good and beers 🍻 were cold.

Great sports bar with a bunch of beer on tap. The food was really good and the staff was friendly. They also had the UFC pay per view. They have a lot of interior seating, a large bar and a seating area outside. Nice place to check out.

Prime rib nite. Food was OKish. Meat was a little more fatty than what I was used to for prime rib and it was very very rare. Still cold in the center. Salad was just iceberg lettuce and very few toppings. Chopped tomatoes and purple onions, black olives and croutons. Choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing. Corn was cold. Baked potatoes plain where cooked well. Atmosphere was great. No kids allowed as it is a bar.
