Firstly, when I came in, there was a very polite and helpful gentleman at the desk. He may be the owner. I was amazed at how neat and clean everything in the room was. The AC was on for me, and everything just looked really nice and made me feel comfortable and at home. This hotel has big rooms, the one I was in is a like an efficiency apartment with a very spacious closet, a desk, two comfy queen beds, usb ports, great lighting and a nice dresser, a microwave, nice sized fridge and even an oven and stove! It . I don’t understand why people are so hard on small businesses like this, especially since this hotel is not only affordable, but really quite nice. The pool is gorgeous, the staff is wonderful, and the room is clean and comfortable. What more could someone want could someone want Without paying for a Marriott? I was so grateful to have found this place right nearby the dog beach! I will definitely come back and stay at this hotel.

Listen to the reviews about mosquitoes. We easily killed about 60 when entering the room, wasting over an hour. The room had a previous heavy smoker. They seem to be coming in from the bathroom vent or AC. After killing upwards of 95% of them, the next morning ~25 were in the bathroom. 25! It's almost as if the owner is a mosquito themselves pumping their hell spawn into the rooms to feed Other guests said they had 0 or very few mosquitoes then none the next morning Using strong peppermint lotion seemed to deter them At least no bed bugs Absolutely abhorrent they still have this issue 6+ years later. Do not come here!

This is an awesome little place to stay the night! My boyfriend and I came down to rest after a night in Atlantic City and we were on a budget. I was soooo happy to find this sweet hotel with a gorgeous pool, giant room, cold air conditioning and a very accommodating nice owner. Bonus was the waffles for breakfast! We will definitely come back, I cannot say enough nice things about this place :)

I read previous reviews AFTER putting a deposit and was less than 2 weeks until check in, so I couldnt get a refund. Most of the negative reviews were accurate. The room was filthy and had many mosquitoes. Nobody ever came to clean or empty trash. I took the trash out myself. The lighting made the room dark. The bed was horribly saggy. I paid for 3 nights but went home after 2. The pool was ok, and the breakfast was ok. Coffee was good. The only friendly, helpful staff was the woman who was there at 7AM. Oh, and the couch was stained and nasty. I never sat on it. Yuck.

I love this place. My daughter and I stayed from Monday to Thursday, adding Thursday at the last minute, and had a great time. And it is perfectly located. Everything you may need and everywhere you want to go is minutes, even seconds away. Will be back

DO NOT BOOK HERE! The rooms are disgusting and the employees do not care. They allow customers to smoke in the rooms then tell you that there is no smoking. The room they tried to have us stay in had cigarette burns on the bed cover and stains all over it. The room smelled horrible, no amount of Lysol or cleaning would fix it. They said they couldn’t refund because the manager wasn’t there then when you call they act like they don’t know when the manager will be in again. Save the hassle and book somewhere else.

Positive: Location Negative: They didn?t clean the room . The bed all they did was Toss the comforter up sheet under was not made. Floors were so dirty we had to wipe something up off the floor with a towel and it was black. We all have bites all over our bodies from something.

The room was big, but the floor needed it to be mop.There was mosquito inside the room when I woke up in the morning. There was mosquitos death in side the shower..I honestly did not shower in there. I stayed only one night wash up in the morning and got out.. never again..the location is fine, is like 10 minutes from the ocean city board walk.. check out is at 11 am..
